Greetings to the amazing steem activity club community. I hope you all are keeping safe.

It feels really great to be here and I must say that I am already liking it already. By way of introduction, My name is wisdom and I go by the nickname - mrspeaker. My first shot on the blogging was in March, 2018 on steemit, and it was a bittersweet experience. I must say that it laid the foundation to the many things I know about cryptocurrency. More especially, it afforded me the opportunity to meet amazing individuals that impacted greatly into me

I was introduced to steemit by my brother and coursemate @donnest who also taught me how to navigate the system. He said and quote "if you want to be successful and famous, engage more in contest, always give it your best shot as well as posting quality and captivating contents". I took these words seriously without any form of biase.
And down the lane I got to interact more with persons like me on the platform,people who enjoyed contests. The likes of @burlarj @eunireal1 @julietisrael @peakreal1 @vickyrich and plenty others.

So While on steemit, I enjoyed taking up contests sponsored by @originalworks @anomadsoul, @oracle-d, @acidyo and also make @curie related contents. Steemit was my new found love then and I devoted quite a lot of time blogging and reading amazing contents. @tarazkp had contents that would always keep you engaged on the timeline or is it @surpassinggoggle that had beautiful projects on @teardrops and @steemgigs. The good old days.

To be candid, steemit was so much fun with the price of steem booming at $6 at that time. In my mind, I had found a platform I could live my entire life on.

• My first community was @steemnaira where I got first hand tutorship from the likes of @ponmile @dante31 @michaelcj @phunke @imbigdee @antigenx @casweeney etc.

• Then @airhawk-project where I met @engrsamest @smithmadu @ibile @honourmaus etc

• Again I moved to @irise network where I met @desmonddesk @itoroarchibong @bookoons @olamax @deeclown and others

• From there I moved to @steembees where I met @ewuoso @kodeblacc @zoneboy exetra

• Later I moved to @euronation where I met @smyle @eurogee @drigweeu @zizymena @jeaniepearl @diamondrich @sammyswt etc

THE BOOM BOMB EXPERIENCE

Shortly after joining steemit, say three months later, I came across a project named

@steemjet,

This was the life changer. In steemjet, I met great minds, great intellectuals, the likes of @yungchief @lordjames @mbj @uche-nna @empato365 @joshuaetim @sheriffakin @donnest @emmycapable @knero @kristenantai01 @vheobong @gee1 @jesse12 @gutzygwin @cherylsonty @afolwalex @citimillz @hornblende @sweetim etc... The ever unending drama of this community kept me going, Lolz. I learnt the true meaning of friendship, betrayal, trust, team work, good/bad leadership and its corresponding effects, Hardwork, talent, plan and strategy, creativity. In a nutshell, this community taught me alot of life lessons I still cling to till date,but this was just the beginning.

I worked with @donnest to head the @steemjet Sports department and we ended

up being awarded over 2000 steem by @dimimp to host football games on behalf of the community.

THE DEATH AND BURIAL OF A STEEMIT BROTHER

I also came across @ehiboss of @genesis-project , @camzy @tojukaka @dawizy @nairadaddy.... Amongst many more that time and strength wouldn't permit me to pen down, @iamthegray @preciousimo @prechyrukky @peachyladiva within this period we lost a Nigerian steemit brother whose name was @onos
He died during a compulsory national youth service after graduating from the university

his demise was a memorable experience and will forever remain in our hearts. He was buried at the age of 25 in his hometown Delta state Nigeria.
A Nigerian steemit welfare committee delegates were assigned to represent the platform duly.

INTRODUCTION OF @BACKTOSCHOOL PROJECT AND ONBOARDING NEWBIES

In a bid to support african school children who are handicap to go @backtoschool eradicate poverty and provide creativity and more job opportunities among the youths. I and my team @donnest, @ozurumba,@sammyswt @desmoniac and @iamchijamz introduced

• @bactoschool project in Nigeria

We went into evangelizing the gospel of steemit platform and holding seminars in order to onboard newbies.This movement was absolutely fruitful.

We brought on-board over 500 newbies to steemit Blockchain network and distributed palliatives to school children and poor families within our reach.

@backtoschool was a great project sponsored by @sircork

We visited the celebration ground in Umuahia north Abia State Nigeria and made wonderful donations of writing materials to primary school children from over 12 different schools

April 25th, 2018. # I hosted a steemit tutorial class with over 36 youths (Age bracket 19 to 25) in attendance and the venue was at college of Education (COED) Main hall in Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Abia State Nigeria.

INTRODUCING SMALL SIZED YAMS MORE NUTRITIOUS THAN BIG SIZED YAMS OF SAME SPECIES

This was my research paper work as graduate biochemist which I conducted alongside other scholars even as a steemit blogger in 2018.

I will draw the curtain here. In conclusion, I gained a better understanding of Blockchain network through steemit and today I am proud to say that I am a better blogger.
