Contest: How Has Steemit Benefitted You Over the Years
Hello famz and friends, I trust you're all good and I hope this week has been awesome so far. May it be a fruitful one for us all. I was so happy when I saw this contest, although I couldn't participate immediately because of the task I have both on-chain and off chain but am super glad am finally dropping my entry.
Without mincing words,I would like to delve into the topic which is more like a question "How Has Steemit Benefitted You Over the Years". Steemit has indeed benefited me in no small way and I will highlight some of the ways it has benefitted me.
Whenever am given an opportunity to talk about this platform called Steemit. I would always remember the very day I took the decision to sign up, it was one of the best decision I have made so far in my life. Well we started the journey and God had helped us this far.
I almost pushed steemit aside when it was introduced to me. To me,it was like another scam and another platform that was ready to waste my precious effort. Many of us have in the past had experience with some of these platforms am talking about.
Am glad our path crossed and my stay here has been very awesome as it has greatly benefited me and not only has it benefited me,it has also influenced me positively.
Steemit has benefited me in the areas I will be mentioning below, there are some area that might not be captured here, the truth is I might not be able to totally tell how much it has benefitted but I will do my best to communicate this to the best of my ability.
- Financially
Steemit came when boys were broke...lols. pardon my choice of words but it is really what it is. I was looking for something to do that could make me financially stable. I had tried several things but to no avail.
It might interest you to know that am this kind of person that loves any online adventure as long as it has the potential of bringing in legit money. I ventured into **digital marketing, online ads, mini importation and the likes, I even dabbled into some fake investment that whisked away the little I had.
I was in school and it wasn't easy trying to catch the latest online and to face my studies as well. Well am sure you're wondering how I manage to sub to check out the stuffs I was doing online... I was actually using the school wifi even at odd hours to run these stuffs.
There was practically no other means of getting these things done. I stay after the school but it has never for once hindered me from trekking down to to come use the school wifi since it was the only option I've got.
So I had to hang around certain locations in the school environment just to ensure I get one or two stuffs done online hoping they will bring me money. It was that serious.
There were days I would practically go to class without a dime in my pocket for over a week before am being remembered at home.
All these faded away as I joined steemit, I stated earning from writing,It was like a miracle to me when I cashed out my first earning. It was strange. What I've been looking for came to me on a platter of gold which I almost discarded it. Am forever grateful to my friend who introduced this platform to me.
I was able to witdraw from the platform as occasion demand and then use them to fix my needs especially my final year project. It changed the whole ball game for me financially and it is still doing today.
- Relationship
This is another added package that steemit gave to me upon signing up. Steemit never told me there were added advantage, I just started discovering them as I kept doing my usual activities here. Quality friends started showing up as a result of my engagement and interaction on the platform.
Our discussion even moved beyond the platform, I mean from on-chain to off chain. I made quite some friends here and am grateful for the gift of these friends. I still make even today infact I find joy and fulfillment engagement and interacting with people via their post.
- Creative ability.
If you're a passive user on the platform, you might not really understand this point but if you're really active you would agree with me that steemit has been able to sharpen you mentality not only has it sharpened you,it has also reconfigured you to think creatively via the activities that go on here.
There are different contest, prompts, innovation, discussion and the like here on the platform that has helped me become better. It has also helped me see life from different perspective as I meet people from different part of the world on this same platform.
Attempting this contest alone requires that you task your brain and then come up with something quite different and interesting. This is to say contest like this has a way of sharpening the mind.
The platform as a whole loves and celebrate creativity so everyday we try to see how we can improve on whatever we know or whatever is being done to come out unique and different.
Permit me to say your creative ability also reflects in your writing styles... lol.
Well you will need to pardon me if I don't write well, am still a learner and am always open to learn from those I consider as experienced users on the platform.
- Trading
This is just an added point. I just feel I needed to add this to make this post complete and in line with the subject matter since we are talking about how steemit has benefited me.
Those days in the academy were really great and awesome as we were thought the rudiment of trading and the market in general. This lessons were helpful, I still use the knowledge from those classes today.
The amazing thing was that we were still being rewarded even as we took those classes... Who does that. Who teaches you and also pay you for learning...only steemit does smile.
Steemit has benefited me in no small way. I wish I could tell all but there are some things that didn't even come to mind as I prepared this write up. I must say, my stay here has been productive.

From what I can see it is remarkable the fact of the great benefits you have achieved by being here on the platform, I'm sure for many it has been just as significant.
It is true what you say, it allows you to establish very good relationships with people who are close, and others who are not so close, but end up becoming good friends.
Have you been able to meet steemit users in person?

I have not been able to meet any of these people in person due to barriers like distance as most of this people stay very far from my physical location.
But having them as close pals off chain is a good start in seeing that come to reality.

Have you seen recent announcement by Steemitblog related to new way of distributing TRX tokens to Steemit users? ( you can check it out here ).
I figured that you may have not seen this post and it's worth to be aware of implemented changed.
Check it out and I'm curious on what do you think about it? based on other people suggestion, it may be best to set up 100% power up on all your posts published on Steemit.

The benefits of steemit to its users can not be over emphasis, the platform is just a blessing to all. You have experienced your self so well on how steemit has helped you since you joined the platform.
Myself i had this experience with other platforms who were scammers, infect i gave up on anything online not until my friend brought the good news of steemit. at first i did not believe it but later own i understood why my friend convenient me to join and I have benefited a lot as well.

We have seen a lot online,and it's the reason for the fear and doubt most of us had when the platform was introduced to us.
