In a cozy coffee shop, two people sat side by side, each holding a coffee cup in their hands. But even though they are close together, the two are separated by their respective digital worlds. Their phones are busy churning out attention-grabbing notifications and screens. They don't talk to each other, stuck in virtual routines that make physical presence feel meaningless. In a togetherness that seems warm, emotional closeness feels like an illusion, and this simple moment is a reflection of how technology can create distance, even when we are physically next to the people we love.
The photos are my own and I took them using a Vivo v2022 smartphone.
