WOX Community: Application for Booming Support Program (July 2023)
Hello dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to submit the Application in the name of "World of Xpilar" Community for Booming Support Program
Here is the Application announcement post:
WOX is the community that was created after the split old Steemit Platform and creation of Steemit of today and Hive so it was in March 2020.
Many users who now active maybe do not know how it was that time. For many it was a difficult time and it was unclear what will happen. With the optimism of @xpilar this community was created, despite of now existing almost four years, our Community is still there with majority of its users as at the beginning of its establishment and all the moderators who were from beginning or who joined recently.
WOX is a community that accommodate many different topics and fields, the users are coming from different countries. We speak different languages but still majority is communicating in English, Spanish and Russian.
The Community was created around Feb-March 2020 by @xpilar, who holds Active key
Posting keys of account has @xpilar, @stef1, @myskye.
Very quickly after foundation we decided to get more people involved, that was the reason why we have such multi-cultural team from different countries but also speaking different languages and having different area of interests.
Behind the community was a strong core team of Norwegian investors: @reflektor, @hingsten, @bippe with @xpilar as a leader, that was the reason why we had good retain of users.
In order to support our users @xpilar created a community account @worldofxpilar, it is triggering a Trial that has 300+ users, with strong accounts like: @xpilar, @reflektor, @hingsten, @bippe, @xpilarwitness

The main aim of Booming Support Program is to support the best posts of community users
The Weekly Booming Nomination report will be produced from Community account @worldofxpilar and payout will go 100% to Community acocunt growth
No Support will be given to the users or moderators who delegated to Upvote service or to users who are Powering Down or Powered Down last 3 months
Posts will be checked for cross posting on identical platform
The nominated posts will be checked for Plagiarism and also suspicious cases will be discuss in our Discord, in the dedicated abuse checking channel.
The main expertise in plagiarism checking in WOX kindly provided by @the-gorilla, @adeljose and @scrutinize

As one of the moderators of the WOX community, I confirm the effectiveness of the Booming Support Program. This is a great opportunity to support authors who create interesting posts.
This motivates both the authors and the rest of the community (as an example to follow) to be more active on the platform. Moreover, we are not going through the best of times right now.

I fully support the application and I do hope that WOX will be amongst the selected communities for the booming support programme. Our community has been consistently active and we do support and interact with users who even choose to post here for the first time. Our team of moderators covers a wide range of languages and we are experts in different fields which makes us drawn to posts on various topics. #dreamteam 👩💻

Booming is one of the greatest Initiative and hope we will have this time another opportunity to be among the communities.
I can’t agree more 🙌 Booming is also one of the oldest initiatives here. This was the programme I was first supported under and I’m still here, contributing sometimes even daily. So through booming I would like us to have the opportunity to give the same chance to other users who will also hopefully choose to stay with us here on the platform 😃
