Why we need other apps?
After my post yesterday, there were few comments and different reaction and it is understandable. I can remember the time when on old Steemit we had "Esteem" one of the first dApp and I must say that was really great. Many used it and immediately many developers created more and more some of them you know like Activfit, Steempress, Spliterlands. Even for videos dTube
But it is true since we are disintegrated there is nothing much happened on Steemit. When I hear why we need other dApps I immediately recall the situation in Medicine or in Surgery. Because the surgery is developing very quickly.
If when I started my medical carrier it was time of open surgery with a big wounds fron top of abdomen till bottom in 80’s the time of key-hole surgery or laparoscopic surgery started and within 10 days almost 80% of surgeons started to do laparoscopic initially simple but them even cancer surgery.
The equipment became more complex and we started to use 3K, 4K, 3D equipment and now we are using Robotic surgery even for cancer disease.
This is only possible thank to the IT specialists who developing those complex equipment.
Since last couple of years we are using so called Da Vinci robotic systems. I am glad that the name of great talented Personality is now forever integrated into the history.
Here how it looks like it needs only one surgeon, one nurse assisted and one scrub nurse. The patient after bowel cancer surgery going home on day 3, that is great development from how it was in the past.
I believe if the surgeons would not ask for better technique who knows where we would be now.
We need to encourage the few Developers who we have on Steemit, we complain that nothing is happening here but if someone is doing somehting why not to use it?

Yes, I need more app in steemit. I think wox can make beautiful front end website and Android app in steemit platform.
To have more and interesting programs is always good, that also creates a competition between people and competition increased the quality of work.
You're right Stef, if someone is making something, we should show some interest in at least testing it.
That can stimulate others to do the same.
Thank you for supporting this idea. It is often that we get used to something that we do all the time and we know that it works and we do not want to try new stuff. I am actually the person who does not like changes but I also know that this is better way to move forward and sometimes reluctantly but I do and often I must admit I am glad that I tried it.
I had great difficulty in logging into STEEM while I was away. I was unable to find an app that would let me log into my account.
Yes, I can imagine and this is something very common, was that the reason why you were away too or just being busy?
Yes, that was the reason I did not post. I was away on vacation and had planned to upload new pics etc every day but I could not log in. I normally log in from my desktop computer but while away, I would need to log in using my mobile. I couldn't figure it out.
You are totally right, my friend! Times change, technology advances, and Steemit need to adapt, or even be on top of that so we all can enjoy this fantastic community. Steem on! :)
