Spotlight and Support the users on Steemit, Issue #14: Ukraine users and protect the nature
Hello dear Steemians,
It is once again Saturday and luckily I am off today and have some time to go through different blogs and to highlight interesting posts or blogs.
This week, at least in Europe many of us were watching what will be decided in EU Parliament, one of the most important topic was help for Ukraine that was €50bn ($55bn; £43bn) EU aid for Ukraine , unfortunately Hungary block that despite of all other 26 EU countries voted for financial aid. In my opinion it is not fair this kind of vote, it should be something like 75% of vote then the decision should be made.
The time for Ukraine becoming very hard, the people are exhausted, mentally and physically without help the defence can not stand.
We still have some users from Ukraine and this time I wanted once again to highlight some of them, we all know they can not do Power Up like other users, that is should be exclusion for them and hopefully the Steemcurators will visit time to time the users even though they are not in any #clubs or if they are doing Power Down.
I am grateful for the Steemit Team for supporting this Initiative and for giving the support for the users

I came across this user when I was working as Steemcurator, the user and his blog made me interested because it was like a newspaper but the chosen events had also the reaction of the user.It is always interesting to look at the even from the point of view of author because everyone has different opinion and we are all different.
The user Bogdan is a user from Ukraine, despite of living under war condition his blog is still full of warmth and kindness, he is open and direct and that is what I really love in this author.
In his last post he also like me reflected the last event of EU vote and like many people we can not understand why it is possible that one person representing one country Hungary can block the decision of 26 members of EU. For Ukrainian it is difficult to understand how the new vote in January should change the position of Hungarian President then.

This is another user from Ukraine who I also came across while doing curation as Steemcurator. This time I wanted to highlight his post about the Christmas decoration, we are taken to visit the shopping centre where you can see everything that will make the children happy. I love the Christmas trees and little Christmas Gnome.

It is just few days ago when we came across of one of the interesting project that is running by the people who love nature and who try to do their bit in protection of Wild Life the species that almost at the extinction.
If anyone like to help and contribute financially then anyone can subscribe, there are many different subscription plans and as you know every little helps.
We were excited seeing that and after watching few videos of the Initiative we thought why not, we have been subscribed and paid the membership. On other hand we thought why not to use Steem to support the project, we can raise the awareness of the people here on Steemit and also we created this account that all the Steem that we earn will be donated for the Project but with mentioning of the Stemeit blockchain. Who knows we might get some people joining the platform too.

Thank you for mention of me and that you remember Ukraine and its people, it is very important for us in the context of this exhausting war, in which we are simply defending ourselves to survive. As for Christmas, this year we will celebrate it together with the whole world for the first time on December 25, not January 7, as before. We want to sever all ties with the aggressor country Russia as much as possible, so we distance ourselves as much as possible from the common Soviet heritage.
Hi @yetaras, it is a pleasure to be able to highlight you, the users from Ukraine, I always enjoy reading the posts and hope that communication on Steemit brings a bit positivity and a feeling of not being alone for you.
It is really nice to know that Ukrainian are going to celebrate Christmas on 25 December, in Germany it is Christmas Eve so it is an evening of 24th, just in very close family circle and then on 25th and 26th with friends or a little remote family members.
I love Christmas in general, it is a good family holiday so even for those who have no strong religion it is a nice event to gather together.

Oh, we also celebrate Christmas Eve with the whole family and we have a very rich tradition of celebrating it, maybe for some people Christmas Eve is a bigger holiday than Christmas itself
