Balanced Living: Boundless Optimism or False Positivity?

Some people seem to be eternally cheerful and optimistic no matter what happens in their lives. Their positivity extends so far as to be able to see a broken foot as "an opportunity," rather than an accident. Some of us end up standing around scratching our heads wondering whether they are really that positive... or are they merely fearful of negative emotions.

It looks as if someone is a gamer! Is it you @khursheedanwar? What is it a racing game? Do you play anything else? Gaming is more solo than playing indoors together and plenty of us do so to distract. It can be good to focus on something else. A bit of tension and the best is if you win.

Authenticity and the Power of Place, Revisited...

When I was about 7-10 years old, we spent several multi-month periods living in France, right across the border from French Switzerland near Geneva and Lake Geneva, around Gex and Ferney-Voltaire. It was the first time I can remember feeling like roots were growing out of the bottom of my feet and giving me the sensation that I could grow here.
Getting better: anxiety front

Every new day brings new challenges and hardships. From these, we learn something new and move forward. Yesterday, after breakfast, my wife and I were having tea as usual. According to our rule, while having tea, we do not do anything else; just tea and us. This makes it a beautiful experience of sharing time together.
