Degenerative lifestyle

written by @soulsdetour

Yesterday, as I listened again to the traditional noise bursts, all the scraping, cutting and grinding that comes from the neighbors garage at 2 pm, I think I realized why these people don't get along with anyone in the settlement. Not only because the people here are unkind and strange. And even more, these people may even have been kicked out from another place where they lived, because the woman told me that they have nothing to do with this region.

Women Celebration : Central Role in Divinity - Black&White

written by @oadissin

Peace.
Photo in black and white fan,
How are you doing on this start of the week?
My week has started with a great completion on my list of chore. The weather condition did not permit the easy execution of the tasks, but I stood firm in action and finish tired and happy.
Here you will find some of the photos I took after a long weekend of exploration on foot in the streets.
It is a pleasure to share with the community these attractive photos in Black and white of the genius artists in Benin.

3 Best Nominations for SEC19 W1: "This is my style"

written by @steemladies

Week ONE of Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 19 is over! The team embarked on this journey with a keen eye and an open mind, carefully examining each post. It was interesting to not only see the different styles of each author but also their style of writing. We received some excellent posts and cannot wait to see what the second week is going to deliver.

Earth's Thirsty Embrace

written by @event-horizon

I am shamelessly envious of you if you cook in an air-conditioned kitchen. It's a pity that despite the extreme temperatures (over 50 degrees Celsius in peak summers), the kitchens here have no cooling system. I am a decent cook according to my family but I wouldn't say I like going in the kitchen in this suffocating weather. Only an insane person or a helpless Pakistani woman (and sometimes a man) would stand in front of the fire (burner) in these temperatures, for hours.
