LIVING IN VIENNA Summer of 2015.
Dear Steemians,
I wanted to continue finishing the chapters about my relationship to Vienna and the art I found there. In the past posts https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@romanie/group-exhibition-in-austria-july-2014-hirschwanghof-niederoesterreich

I felt like I was a bit torn between my wish to continue closing this series I had originally thought to do and engrave here in the blockhain, but then the war in Ukraine started and I feel this might be too banal but I guess a bit of going back to the past isn´t bad either.
The next period of time I spent in Vienna was for a period of 3 months in the Summer of 2015. I retreated once again to paint. This time De Es wasn´t available because he was on a secret mission, creating his new collection. I was fortunate to see his work and met up a few times but he wasn´t revising my work in any way.
During this summer I had a bicycle and went to many parts of the city and it´s surroundings. I spent time talking to other artist friends, whom I now miss, as I haven´t seen them for two years .
Here are some impressions I took of the city.
Collaborative street art with Regina Kafeder!
And I also had the ritual of going to see museums, art festivals and galleries with Ruth Pasquine who was at that time retired and doing an art course at the Visionary Art Academy. She had worked as a curator in a modern art museum all her life and I felt she had a lot to teach me about some modern art forms I wasn´t naturally inclined to like and though her I got to appreciate so much more.
Ruth and myself in the reflection.
I also, though her encouragement, applied for a space to exhibit my work in the Palais Palffy and just days before I was due to return to Ibiza we came to an agreement. I left with an exhibition programmed for the end of September the following year. That was something very exciting to work towards. I didn´t really know how I´d work out the logistics but I decided to go for it!
Here are some of the paintings I did during that time in Vienna.
Some of you will probably know them from the postcards.
Best wishes and peace!

The time that you spent in Vienna was very productive, I love your works, looks like you also integrated bicycle riding into your painting too.
Also love that mural behind you and Regina.
