EXHIBITION 2012. CAN TIXEDO. IBIZA.

I´m currently working on getting my next exhibition ready for the 29th of October, back in my favourite place in Ibiza Can Tixedo.
In the year 2012 I did a very big exhibition in a very big gallery in Ibiza in Summer https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@romanie/exhibition-in-2012-s-alamera-centre-cultural-ibiza. and many of my friends hadn´t been able to come so I decided to do one in my more local favourite place and it was a lovely gathering of new and old friends.
Here are some of the photos of the process of setting it up with the help of Jason my husband and Juanito, the owner of the place:
Then a few of the night. These are images that a friend did for me Fernando Fajardo:
They also feature the musician PJ Gonzalez who gave a solo loop concert.
PJ Gonzalez had also created music for six of the paintings and people could listen to the tracks with the headphones on while they look at it.
I just had to photograph the Poster of the event because I could´t find the digital archive.
I still have it hanging in my studio wall amongst all the rest of posters that Jason designed.
Just found these other images from another Jazz Concert that took place there while my paintings were up. It was the austrian Muriel Grossman band. http://www.murielgrossmann.com/

Hi @cryptigital! thank you for taking your curiosity and interest. I had known about Roger Dean. My mother showed me an article once in The Guardian and thought I´d like his work. It´s beautiful and other-worldly. Thank you for reminding me about him as I had forgotten about his existence. Cool mandalas! Welcome to Steemit! The community is growing!
Yes, looking at your creations, you need to listen to the appropriate music :)
Although ... if you immerse yourself in such a picture, it itself creates a melody inside you.

Thank you so much! What a lovely comment! I must say that the photos that Fernando took really add to the atmosphere! I listen to a lot of music while I paint. it creates a special space.
