Today's topic is as old as the sea itself. We offer a very simple theme - The harbor. But that doesn't mean it will be easy to win. Usually, as you know, the most talented and original photos win.
So... theme of next week is -The harbor- in any form!
Of course, you can post photos on any topic, but theme of the -The harbor- will take priority

Greetings @mister-omortson I would like to enter the contest with my photo of Whitstable harbour in South East England popular for oysters. My family and I are down here for holiday so I was glad that there is such a contest on right now. Other than the obvious fishing boats in the foreground, the tall black wooden buildings in the background were used in the past for hanging fishing nets and drying fish. Nowadays they have been turned into museums, restaurants and some are still being used for storage. Here is a link to my article about Whitstable harbour #club5050 At The Harbour

imo, it is a good idea to make a separate post (with a story and more visuals, if you'd like to), and then copypast the link tp the post, and one chosen photo, to comment section of this post. cheers!

Hmm.. Xavier, do you consider it to be an error and even a bad idea?
the "core" of the challenge (as I see it) is a) participance with your photo; b) voting for others entries -- to choose collectively the finalists. this is the core part and the main, basic idea. the details are not crycial and may vary. if you will drop here in comment section A Link to your post - that would be an error, but dropping a certain picture from your post + the link to your post is totally ok. the post may contain 5, 10, 20 pictures, only one take part in the contest. that is a basic and pretty standart practise... nothing special. wish you well!

I don't mind posting.
But to choose the winner, it is more convenient for me to choose one of the presented ones. Searching for photos by links is quite difficult.
