Hi @mister-omortson, on the harbor I have several photos, it is better that I make a post and then share the link here, or do I put the photo in a comment on this post?
imo, it is a good idea to make a separate post (with a story and more visuals, if you'd like to), and then copypast the link tp the post, and one chosen photo, to comment section of this post. cheers!

Hmm.. Xavier, do you consider it to be an error and even a bad idea?
the "core" of the challenge (as I see it) is a) participance with your photo; b) voting for others entries -- to choose collectively the finalists. this is the core part and the main, basic idea. the details are not crycial and may vary. if you will drop here in comment section A Link to your post - that would be an error, but dropping a certain picture from your post + the link to your post is totally ok. the post may contain 5, 10, 20 pictures, only one take part in the contest. that is a basic and pretty standart practise... nothing special. wish you well!

I don't mind posting.
But to choose the winner, it is more convenient for me to choose one of the presented ones. Searching for photos by links is quite difficult.

From what I understand from the rules you have written about the contest, participation in the contest is in the contest thread, and it is not necessary to make an entry on the platform to participate.And from your answer, I also gather that for you it is better not to open a post in the forum, so why are there contestants who do it?

Obviously with a link, you get more money. The contest didn't accept links before. It's not clear how or when it started accepting links, right @mister-omortson, @qwerrie?
No, links to posts are not accepted for the contest. Only pictures!
