Melancholy
Melancholy is an emotion that has certain similarities to sadness, and is usually linked to a memory.
It is associated with some physical manifestations such as exhaustion, tiredness, and some cognitive manifestations, such as difficulty in concentrating on the present. It is usually characterized by listlessness, apathy, lack of energy and longing for the past.
These photos taken recently, correspond to a walk I took a few days ago to the nearby town of Santa Rosa, located east of the city of Barquisimeto.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.
Melancolía
La melancolía es una emoción que posee ciertas similitudes a la tristeza, y que normalmente está unida a un recuerdo.
Está asociada a algunas manifestaciones físicas como agotamiento, cansancio, y algunas otras cognitivas, como dificultad para concentrarnos en el presente. Usualmente se caracteriza por el desgano, la apatía, la falta de energía y la añoranza por el pasado.
Estas fotos tomadas recientemente, corresponden a un paseo que realicé algunos días atrás al cercano poblado de Santa Rosa, ubicado al este de la ciudad de Barquisimeto.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir la imagen original a mi entera satisfacción.
