Playing photographer | 23 | Mountain city Haputale

How are you guys? Hope you all keep well. Last week I was not able to participate in the "Playing Photography" contest. So today I'm going to share with you some details & photos taken by me in Sri Lankan beautiful mountain city that call Haputale. Haputale is a place where there are hills all around, and these hills are covered with forests filled with clouds and tea plantations. So let's move to the post without further ado.

Haputale is located in Badulla district, Uva province of Sri Lanka. Haputale is a famous city because of its tourist attractions. Around Haputale there are a lot of tourist attractions. I have written about some of them for World of Xpiler and other Steemit communities. The elevation is 1431 m (4695 ft) above sea level.

You can reach Haputale within 4 & half hours from Colombo(Which is the capital city of Sri Lanka). Ok now I will list down tourist attractions in Haputale and If I have written an article about that location, I will link the post.

The special thing is there are a lot of waterfalls around Haputale. These all destinations are located near Haputale city and could be reached within an hour.

A lot of my blogs are read by foreign friends, So I like to invite you to visit Sri Lanka & Haputale one day.

Haputale is also famous for its tea plantation. Don't forget to visit Lipto's seat If you are visiting Haputale. Perhaps the most well-known attraction in Haputale is Lipton's Seat. The viewpoint known as Lipton's Seat is an hour's drive from Haputale town and is named for the well-known Thomas Lipton. He was a trader from Scotland who settled in British Ceylon in 1890. There, he met James Taylor, and the two of them helped the nation establish tea estates. Taylor had tried to cultivate coffee on the island before Lipton got there, but the plantings were destroyed by leaf blight. The two men started a commercial partnership with Lipton's assistance that would last longer than either of their lives. However, I do not yet visit Lipton's seat. If I visit there, I will share a complete article about Lipton's seat.
