The World of XPILAR - CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #196 - Babylon.
There are many disputes and special ideas about what the sinful city of Babylon looked like in those days when people decided to challenge God himself and build a tower to heaven showing what they were capable of without God's blessings.
There was probably a moment when everyone watched how quickly the huge tower grew but many could not remember the moment when this tower was destroyed.
It was a time when all people understood each other's language speaking the same dialect but their self-confidence led to both the destruction of the tower and the loss of the ability to understand each other.
While reading the pages of the Bible I saw the streets of Babylon which I depicted on paper using a graphite pencil.
