Illustration - The twelfth chapter of Genesis.
Today, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas, and no one argues with this, on this day. Merry christmas!
On this day, presumably, no one knows the exact date, Jesus Christ was born, who was destined to take on all the sins of mankind and go to the cross.
Everyone likes to receive gifts on this day, but not everyone thinks about the suffering that this baby will be destined to endure in the future.
After the crucifixion, the sacrifice of Christ will put an end to the sacrifices that the Jews brought in tribute to God.
And, Christmas coincided with the day of publication of another illustration for the Book of the Old Testament, which I recently drew.
This illustration is for the twelfth chapter of Genesis.
If you have not read it, then I will try to summarize it briefly.
Abraham lived in an area that was experiencing famine and he decided to go with his family to Egypt, where there was a more prosperous time.
But, before entering the Egyptian lands, Abraham built an altar of stones and offered a sacrifice to God.
Usually, it was a beloved lamb, the most expensive thing you had, your most beloved, but you had to raise a knife over it and spill blood, and, as a result, put it on fire.
The moment after this sacrifice, when Abraham was on his way to Egypt, I have depicted in this drawing.
Since I picked up a simple pencil with a graphite core, my life has become much brighter, so to speak about the gray shades of the drawings that I ended up with.
Someone will say that this is just paper and a modest drawing, but, for me, this is a huge, long story that I hold in my hands.
Each time, I don't know what the illustration for the next chapter will be, they appear the moment I pick up a pencil and bend over a piece of paper, asking God to understand His Word.

I don't get how you are able to produce so many drawings that are full of details, so fast.
I do get it, and it is good, and fun, and important.
You might need to create your own graphic novel. I think you mentioned something about it, but not sure.

I don’t understand it myself :), in my photo archive there are thousands of photos that can be published daily for many years, but I draw ... I am a rather lazy person who likes to sleep during the day, but instead, I draw, today I drew two drawing and finished two more drawings that I didn’t finish yesterday, I have one explanation, apparently, I am doing something pleasing to God and He blesses me in this, I have no other explanations. Thank you, I'm glad that I can draw better than a week ago.
