Beach party.
A beach party, I'll admit, is an event and a place where people gather to relax and socialize, but things are gradually spiraling out of control, probably because of the sand.
Well, yes, who would call the shore of a lake or river a beach if there's no sand there, but no one would call a sandbox a beach if there's no water nearby. It's kind of confusing—is it the water or the sand?
Be that as it may, the combination of sand and water has an attractive effect not only on humans, but, as you can see, on dogs as well.
Dogs are not averse to having a beach party when the beach is empty, which is inexplicable at a time of year when the beach season is over and the likelihood of people leaving food scraps on the beach is unrealistic.
Apparently, dogs and people have the same motives for visiting the beach: to have a blast, and maybe even fight... before the party's over.
But of course, these are just guesses, and only dogs know the true motives :)
