No Internet - no life

Russian village.
Nikolai Alekseevich Nekrasov immediately after the abolition of serfdom in Russia began to write his poem "Who lives well in Russia?" 150 years have passed, but this question is still relevant. My father-in-law often quoted this poem when we went fishing together in the vicinity of his native village. I have always seen a lot of abandoned houses in abandoned villages with him 30 years ago. I saw the first dead villages during my childhood, when I started cycling in the vicinity of my native village. These were villages that became empty after the reforms of the then General Secretary Khrushchev. And since then, people have been leaving the countryside more and more. Although, what am I talking about? There are whole dead cities in the north of the Komi Republic.
Last weekend I was visiting my mother-in-law and went fishing a couple of times. I had to look for a road to the Unzha River in the vicinity of the village of Zarechye of the Makaryevsky district of the Kostroma region. I forgot this road because my father-in-law and I drove along it almost 20 years ago.
The village is located 5 km from the city and I saw that new nice big houses have appeared in this village. But there were many abandoned houses. And the further away from the city, the more abandoned villages there are.

Мой тесть часто цитировал эту поэму, когда мы с ним ходили вместе на рыбалку в окрестностях его родной деревни. Очень много всегда я мы видели с ним еще 30 лет назад заброшенных домов в покинутых деревнях. Первые мертвые деревни я увидел во времена своего детства, когда начал ездить на велосипеде в окрестностях своего родного села. Это были деревни, которые стали пустыми после реформ тогдашнего Генсека Хрущева. И с тех пор люди уезжают из сельской местности всё больше и больше. Хотя, о чем это я? На севере Республики Коми есть целые мертвые города.
В прошлые выходные я был в гостях у тещи и пару раз сходил на рыбалку. Мне пришлось искать дорогу к реке Унжа в окрестностях деревни Заречье Макарьевского района Костромской области. Я забыл эту дорогу, потому что мы с тестем ездили по ней почти 20 лет назад.
Деревня находится в 5 км от города и я увидел, что в этой деревне появились новые хорошие большие дома. Но появилось много и заброшенных домов. И чем дальше от города, тем больше заброшенных деревень.
In the 90s, for some reason, I looked at such destroyed houses and thought how bad it all was. But at some point I began to perceive such things as the natural course of life: birth, growing up, development, extinction, aging, death. Maybe because I see similar processes all over the world? Maybe I was influenced by my house construction? Who did I build a house for? To myself, to my wife, to my daughter, to my mother. The sons had already matured and lived separately. My daughter grew up during the construction and left. The youngest daughter is also growing up and is likely to leave. Why would we need a big house? It needs to be maintained, it needs finances. Admittedly, we always don't have enough of them. And it's sad.
В 90-х годах я почему-то смотрел на подобные дома и думал, что как всё это плохо. Но в какой-то момент я стал воспринимать подобные вещи как естественный ход жизни: рождение, взросление, развитие, угасание, старение, смерть. Может потому что я вижу подобные процессы во всем Мире? Может на меня повлияло моё строительство дома? Кому я строил дом? Себе, жене, дочке, маме. Сыновья уже повзрослели и жили отдельно. Дочь за время строительства выросла и уехала. Младшая тоже растет и, скорее всего уедет. Зачем нам будет нужен большой дом? Его надо содержать, на это нужны финансы. Надо признать, что у нас их всегда не хватает. И это печально.
I think that it is not necessary to be sad for such collapsed houses. And if we admit to ourselves, who among us is ready to go to live in a remote village, to which there may not be a road? There are no shops, there are no hospitals, there are no other public institutions. Few can live as hermits nowadays. Oh, yeah. There is practically no Internet! Steemit will be unavailable.
Я думаю, что не стоит грустить по таким развалившимся домам. И если признаться себе - то кто из нас готов уехать жить в глухую деревню, до которой и дороги может не быть? Там нет магазинов, нет больниц, нет никаких других общественных заведений. Немногие могут жить отшельниками в наше время. Ах, да. Там практически нет Интернета! Steemit будет недоступен.
Честно говоря такие дома лучше совсем разрушить и оставить поляну или построить что-то новое :)
У меня на поселке целая улица таких домов. Я в прошлом году их показывал. Эот все муниципальные дома. Один дом пару месяцев назад всё же убрали! Наверное, кто-то купил землю и решил что-то строить.
А в деревнях это всё чьи-то частные дома и их никто не имеет права сносить. Да и кто будет тратить деньги на их снос.

Подобный домик есть у мужева сестры в деревне, старый, старый)
блин... подобных развалюх и даже сильнее есть везде. рядом с моим домом можно даже найти. Они есть даже в центре нашего города.
Мало из тех, кто когда-то уехал из деревни, возвращается обратно, ну разве что выстроят себе особняк в красивом живописном месте, у реки, и приезжают туда как на отдых, с/х мало кто занимается.
Типа как-то так.
Но я реально вижу, что есть люди, которые начали развивать фермерство. Но это нелегко. Но и... они продают продукты дороже магазинских.

I agree with you, you are very right, the natural course of life is also reflected in our cities, towns or houses and although we see these abandoned places with nostalgia and sadness we could not live in them. The sad thing is that there are so many abandoned places in the world and there are so many that have nowhere to live.

This process of abandoning the countryside has occurred a lot in other countries like Spain where ghost towns have been formed. Most young people migrate to big cities in search of opportunities that satisfy them. There would have to be a change in the policies that promote and encourage living in the countryside and establishing families. I don't know if something like this will come or if a catastrophe will have to happen for people to return to the countryside to survive. Thanks for sharing. Happy afternoon.
