Anche oggi voglio condividere la mia giornata con tutti voi, è stato un sabato tranquillo e piacevole.

The weather was uncertain since the morning, I thought that at any moment it could have caused a storm but suddenly, when I was about to collect the clothes, the sun came out again.
But at least it wasn't too hot and sometimes it gave us a little coolness.

We spent our afternoon at my parents' house, we arrived just the time for the snack and we were lucky there was a very good ice cream.

Il tempo è stato incerto fin dalla mattina, pensavo che da un momento all'altro potesse fare un temporale invece improvvisamente quando stavo quasi per ritirare i panni stesi, usciva di nuovo il sole.🤔
Però almeno non è stata una giornata troppo calda e anche se a tratti, ci ha regalato un po' di fresco.

Il nostro pomeriggio lo abbiamo passato a casa dei miei genitori, siamo arrivate giusto il tempo della merenda e ci ha detto bene c'era un buonissimo gelato.😜

The old house cat could not miss to take a breath of fresh air on the veranda table. Anyway, let's stay on the subject since today is also Caturday and it seems right to give some space to our cat a little spoiled for its 16 years.

A prendere un po'di fresco sul tavolo della veranda non poteva mancare il vecchio gatto di casa. Comunque rimaniamo in tema visto che oggi è anche Caturday e mi sembra giusto dare un po'di spazio al nostro gatto un po'viziato per via dei suoi 16 anni.

In the late afternoon I helped my mother with the garden showing the green thumb, ok I just watered the garden 😬 but it's a big garden.

Nel tardo pomeriggio ho dato un aiuto a mia madre col giardino sfoderando il mio pollice verde,va bene ho solo annaffiato il giardino 😬 però è un giardino grande.

And then there is also the vegetable garden but before watering it, we collected the friggitelli or friarielli peppers, they are sweet dwarf peppers with an elongated shape and green or red color.
They are typical vegetables of central-southern Italy, they can be cooked in many ways but are usually fried in oil.

E poi c'è anche l'orto ma prima di annaffiarlo, abbiamo raccolto i friggitelli o peperoni friarielli, sono dei peperoni nani dolci dalla forma allungata e di colore verde o rosso.
Sono ortaggi tipici del centro-sud Italia, si possono cucinare in tanti modi ma di solito vengono fritti nell'olio.

Dopo il raccolto, ho annaffiato l'orto e alla fine devo ammettere che non è stato così faticoso come sembra anzi è addirittura rilassante.

The evening passed pleasantly and after dinner we found ourselves on the veranda chatting and laughing about the things that had happened during the day and enjoying some fresh air.

La serata è passata piacevolmente e dopo cena ci siamo ritrovati nel portico a chiacchierare e ridere delle cose accadute durante la giornata e goderci un po'di fresco.

I almost forgot!
For dinner we prepared our friggitelli as a side dish, we removed the internal seeds, cut in half lengthwise and cooked with a drizzle of oil over low heat together with the diced potatoes.
And voila, from producer to consumer. An almost zero kilometer outline.

Dimenticavo!
Per cena abbiamo preparato i nostri friggitelli come contorno, abbiamo tolto i semini interni, tagliati a metà per la lunghezza e fatti cuocere con un po' d'olio a fuoco lento insieme alla patate tagliate a cubetti.
E voilà, dal produttore al consumatore. Un contorno quasi a chilometro zero.
