양재천 풍경
후덕지근한 습식 사우나에 온 듯한 느낌의 어제 아침의 양재천.
자전거 도로와 산책로가 평행하게 이어지고, 그 옆으로 흐드러지게 피어난 노란 모감주나무꽃이 눈길을 사로잡는 순간 후덕지근함은 순간 사라진다.
초록의 나무들과 어우러진 이 노란 꽃은 폭염의 기운을 담고 있다. 폭염이 있어야 이 꽃은 더 활기를 띤다.
걷는 내내 고요한 물소리와 새소리가 아침 풍경을 더욱 평화롭게 만든다. 일상의 분주함에서 벗어나 잠시 숨 고르기에 완벽한 순간이다.
허나, 40여분 걸으니 온 몸이 축축함이 몰려오면서 조그만 손수건이 바빠진다. 그래서 난 고요한 풍경 속 잠시 숨고르기를 멈춘다.
