Intro

Those who know a lot about the Tron blockchain have certainly come a long way, but for those who are brand new or want to get an idea on it from the beginning is a challenge. I am constantly writing in this community about the basics of Tron, from the very beginning. The name of this series I write about Tron is Basics of Tron. I provide links of my previous posts so that you can get a better idea by visiting those as well. Hopefully, tron lovers will be benefited from this series.

In previous tutorial, I explained about Tronscan. We know, its tron blockchain data explorer. By searching with tron account, block number or transection hash we can easily find related data here. But for accessing some wallet related functions like transfer, receive, stake, vote we need to connect our tron wallet (address) with Tronscan so that we can easily do wallet related functions.

It’s a simple task but still I would like to show as it’s a series of tutorials where newbies can find the sequence of what to do and how to do. Let me show you with couple of screenshot how to connect your tron wallet (tronlink) to tronscan. So, let’s get started.

Step 01: First of all go to Tronscan webpage. https://tronscan.org/ or http://tronscan.io/. Then you should find connect wallet button as screenshot below. Before clicking on connect wallet button, you have to login to your tronlink web extension first.

Step 02: Now, there will be two options available to you. As we are connecting tronlink, so we should select tronlink. Click on connect button.

Step 03: It will ask keys (sometimes not when you are already connected to your tronlink wallet extension). Now its connected. When it is connected then you can check it in your tronlink web wallet as well like screenshot below.

Step 04: Now, you should find your tron address in the place of connect wallet and you can find some options related of wallet activities under your wallet address. Its done.
