Basics of Steem (Part 05) : Discord Server of Steemit Communities and Importance of Joining
INTRO
INTROThe Tron Fan Club is a specialized community working on some specific topics. As a moderator of the community, I am regularly sharing several tutorials to help newbies. In this series of tutorials, I am trying to share the basic issues of Steem blockchain.
Getting guideline from someone or group of people is key things for a new users of steemit. When I was a new user of steemit, I had no mentor except internet. I had Google to search my queries but its not possible always to get the clear idea on some of the topics in steemit by Google search. So, it’s very difficult for newbies to find the best of any problem they are facing to understand something on steemit issues. So, a group of messaging or chatting platform can be a good solution to this problem of newbies.
Most of the steemit communities use Discord (a kind of social media) to communicate and interact to their community members. Some are using Telegram as well. So, it’s really important of new steemit users to join in the discord server of those steemit communities where they are interested to work. I faced many problems initially in this platform but got the proper solution from several people in the discord server of the communities. It’s a common platform where all chat and gossip.

There are several channels in those discord servers. Some of the channels are for helping newbies, some are for asking question, some are for general discussion, some are for voice meeting, some are for the verification of new users, some are for announcing updates, some are for playing some games together etc. So, from those list anyone can find the solution to problem as well as it’s an opportunity to meet new and experience people.
So, I should say the first duty of any steemit user is to join the discord server of those communities where they willing to work. It will facilitate them to learn quicky and easily from real experienced guys. Here, everyone are helpful that is so good. Not only community admin & moderators rather the general users also help the newbies to understand any topic better.

It’s just like opening account to Facebook, Whatsapp etc. By using your mobile phone or e-mail address you can easily create your discord account. To join any server of the communities, find the discord server link from the main page of the community description. After having a discord account, you can join to community discord server very easily by just clicking on that link (provided in the description of the community page).
