Basics of Steem (Part 04) : About Communities in Steemit

INTROThe Tron Fan Club is a specialized community working on some specific topics. As a moderator of the community, I am regularly sharing several tutorials to help newbies. In this series of tutorial, I am trying to share the basic issues of Steem blockchain.
Let’s talk about communities in Steemit today for the newbies. You know, I am writing this tutorial series on steemit by targeting fresh steemit users so that by going through this tutorial series they can have a complete and clear idea on all the topics related to steem which will help them to start their steem journey without help or guidance from others.
Steemit is blcokchain based social media where people share their content and earn for getting likes. Here, it is working on the basis of communities. You can find a huge number of communities in steemit. Most of the communities are specialized on some specific subjects and contents.
Communities are not the creation of steemit rather created by users in steemit. You can also create a community. Creating community is a matter of minute but maintaining the community and attracting writing to the community is challenging as like as it is difficult to attract customer to any product from competitors.
Top communities have a lot of users and they are getting support in the form of upvote that’s why writing to those communities. So, top communities a huge number of content and handsome upvote. That’s why they are top. So, main task of a community admin is to attract writers with customized content sharing and helping them to get better support in the form of upvote so that they can feel good to write in the community.
In steemit, you can write in your wall (no communities) as well but in that case there will be very less possibilities of getting any upvote because no one gonna check your wall as now its community bases. Users are involved in any of the communities. So they read and write content on those communities.
The first tag is steemit post is very important. First tag is the content category tag which we can call community tag as well. When we enter to any community and start writing our post, then the first tag is automatically set to our post. That first tag is the community tag of that community where we started our writing.
For example,
hive-101145 is the tag of SCT.암호화폐.Crypto community
hive-129948 is the tag of আমার বাংলা ব্লগ community
hive-185836 is the tag of WORLD OF XPILAR community
hive-144064 is the tag of Beauty of Creativity community
hive-183397 is the tag of TRON FAN CLUB community
If you write something in your wall and use such a tag as first tag then this post will be published in that community. So, community tag identifies the category of the content in steemit. First tag is very important here to differentiate the content based on its community or category.
You can find the details of the community rules, members, reward from community page. By clicking on explore communities in steemit you can find list of all communities on steemit. You can check them based on Ranking, Subscribers and Date of Start.
To be successful here, you have to find your required community where you prefer to work. From the list, you can easily check community info like community rank, rules, number of subscribers, number of posts, and number of posters etc to find out best community for you. You can join (subscribe) to any community. You can post to any community as well but in that case you should follow that community rules otherwise your post can be muted by community admin and moderators. And you should find social media link like discord, telegram to join the team of community. In discord server of the community, you can find updates, solution and engagement.
