Daily Menu Delicacies date (17-08-2023) // Tried out Japanese Ramen
Hello dear Iron Chefs!
I hope you are doing well...
Breakfast
It was a busy morning today; I had many things to complete. I woke up at 5.30 am to give a wake-up call to my husband who is away from home. It was just me and my baby for breakfast. I didn't have many plans for breakfast. I went for a quick breakfast that I could eat while working. I had a packet of rice flakes that I bought from the supermarket recently. I let them soak in water for a few minutes and then strained the water out. I made a simple breakfast by adding grated coconut, sugar, and salt to the rice flakes.
Lunch
As I finished up my morning work, it was time to prepare lunch. I had very few groceries at home. But somehow, I managed to create a delicious meal with what was available at home. I cooked a dhal curry and prepared tempered long beans curry mixed with cauliflower. Additionally, I made some air-fried chicken to accompany the rice. I loved my lunch menu today. It had all flavors that satisfied my hunger. Since I had a very light breakfast, I found myself feeling hungry by lunchtime.
Evening - Snack
A friend of ours from Japan visited us, I prepared the Ramen that he brought us. I was eagerly waiting to try one of them. Therefore, I thought it would be perfect to enjoy Ramen while watching Cartoons with my little one. It tasted really delicious. It had the right amount of spiciness that I craved for. After seeing many trying out Ramen Noodles on social media. I too craved something soupy and spicy each time I watch. However, it turned out to be a delightful evening snack that made my day.
Dinner
I still felt full from the evening snack. I had dinner a bit later than my usual time. By that time, I started feeling hungry. I gathered all the ingredients I needed to make a Cheese Tomato Omelet. It turned out to be a great meal when combined with bread and salad cucumber.
As always being grateful for all the delicious meals I had today, I conclude my todays post hoping to meet you soon with everything that I eat in a day. Hope you enjoyed going through my post, I invite my dear friend @dagonmaster, @f2i5, and @pandora2010 to share their Daily Menu Delicacies with us.

Thats great to hear that you tried to make ramen at home. I think it tastes much better when made with natural ingredients.
Thanks for visiting and for your kind words.
Many blessings!
Awww, long time no see rice flakes, I guess 😍 However I am pretty surprised about your lunch menu. The way I see it almost same as one of our lunch menu Indonesia. Ahaha...
Many blessings, my dear friend 🥰💝
Hi @asiahaiss
Yes, nowadays there are many other snacks no one tends to buy this stuff. Only those who know the taste and love to have natural food will go for such food.
Ohh really? Maybe it's possible but I'm sure the taste is different. Because the mix of Sri Lankan spices is different.
Many blessings to you too dear friend...Thank you so much for visiting! :)
Me fascino tu desayuno y tu cena rápida pero muy nutritivo y ligero. bendiciones😋
I’m glad you liked it… thanks a lot for visiting and for your kind words!
