Syed Bashir Mirza was a famous rich person in the city, his father was the last king of a princely state, his influence was in the whole city, and examples of Mirza Sahib's generosity were also given in the whole city and nearby cities.

If any needy, poor, destitute person reached his mansion to ask for the help he needed, he would never return empty-handed. Every possible help to him was done by Mr Mirza. Because of this generosity of Mirza Sahib, sometimes some thugs and wrong people also took advantage of him.

Similarly, Dhurandhar Shah, a dangerous sly thug, came to know through an old resident of the mission that a very old treasure is buried in a well in the garden of Mirza's old mansion.

And Mr Mirza himself also knows that the treasure is buried in that well, but a trusted advisor of Mr Mirza has warned him that the one who gets this treasure out of the well will meet a very bad end.

Because this treasure was a cursed treasure, that is why no ancestor of Mr Mirza had made any effort to get this treasure out of the well to date.

Shah started making plans to get this treasure and to make this plan successful, he sent a message to Mr Mirza and in that message proposed to buy the garden part of the mansion at a very expensive price. But Mirza Sir rejected that proposal outright.

Now Shah again came up with an idea and he disguised himself as a building craftsman and requested Mirza Sir to allow him to renovate the garden part of the mansion so that the glory of his mansion would increase. Shah said that he will take very fewer wages for this work because he needs money for his daughter's marriage.

Simple-matured Mirza Sir, because of his generosity and tendency to help the poor, got caught in his swindling and handed over the job to him.

Shah got the work started with laborers and on the third day at night, the laborers were taken down in the well, the well had dried up with time, and on digging in it first a very old skeleton was found and then a treasure box was found.

Shah took that box in his possession and removed all the labourers from work.

Within a week after the treasure was taken to shah's home, Shah's son died in an accident, the Shah fell seriously ill, and his wife began to have nightmares.

Now it has come to Shah's understanding that this is happening because of the cursed treasury.

The next day he went to Mirza Sir, apologized to him and buried the treasure back in the well, Mirza sir forgave him.

But in his greed, Shah ended his son's life.

So the end of greed ended in mishaps. That's right we should avoid greed and unethical behavior. Great story.

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.

Assalamualaikum,

This was a story which gave us a lesson that greeed is not Good for us.

The story is a about the dangers of greed and the consequences of taking what isn't rightfully yours.

Shah, driven by his desire for wealth, took a box that he believed to be filled with treasure, only to find out that it was cursed. The price of his greed was high, as he lost his son and fell seriously ill.

It's only after realizing the dire consequences of his actions that Shah was able to repent and return the treasure to its rightful owner, Mirza.

This story serves as a reminder of the importance of living a life of integrity and avoiding actions that may harm others or cause suffering in the long run.

I hope people will get lesson from this story and will not fell pray of Greed. Good luck in this contest.

Hello dear @sur-riti
This is a story about a wealthy person, Syed Bashir Mirza, and a dangerous thug, Dhurandhar Shah, who tries to take advantage of Mirza's generosity. Shah learns of a buried treasure in Mirza's garden and attempts to get it by disguising himself and asking to renovate the garden. The laborers find a cursed treasure and Shah takes possession of it, but experiences misfortune soon after. He realizes the curse and returns the treasure to Mirza, apologizing for his actions. However, Shah's greed ultimately resulted in his son's death.

The lesson we learned from this story is that greed is a bad thing. Nice to read your post, thank you for participating in the contest.

@mateen005,
Thanks my dear friend,
You have said absolutely right, in this story, an attempt has been made to show that the greed of a man takes him on the path of downfall.
