SEC-S17 /W2| "What if you were the president of your country?"
Being a president of anything , organisation or country is not an easy work, but if I'm opportune to be a president I will surly deliver and do things differently compared to what we are currently facing in my country today.
If you were the president of your country, what would be your top three priorities and why?
If I'm the president of my country today I will make sure the cost of living is affordable. I will fix the educational system and reduce the cost so that everyone will afford to go to school. I will also make provisions for good job for every graduate.
There will be freedom of speech, and I will make sure that there's good road network.
✍️ As president, what specific steps would you take to improve education and healthcare systems in your country?
Taking my country as a case study, some of the health care system are nothing to write home about, some even go to extent of renting a hall just to do small work and go home to wait for their salary.
I will start by building modern health facilities that have adequate health care equipments. Then I will employ qualified midwives, and nurses that will take their work serious without sentiment. Their salaries and other benefits will be my number one goal so that they will work effectively. I'm sure if I use this approach the health care system in my country will be revived.
When it comes to the educational system I will as well upgrade the classrooms and make them conducive for learning. Having in mind to install good teaching aids that will compete with other world standards.
✍️ As a president, what challenges you could face in improving the overall condition of your country?
I know that there are challenges such as.
- Selfish interest.Some people want to eat only with their family living the mass to suffer, sometimes they embezzle public fund for their selfish interest. These set of people can frustrate any government , If only everyone will be submissive to work with me the work will be less burdensome, but since I know that everyone must have his or her selfish interest,they will try to form a coup against my administration to frustrate me. It will be challenging to work in this condition where there will be no teamwork.
Finance. Good governance and implementation of projects involves money. If there's no enough finance to run a smooth an solid projects it will be a challenge.
Security. Without a stable security in a country it will an impossible mission to carry out good governance.
✍️ Would you do something new to write the history of your country? What will it be?
My country really needs a history changer, the citizens of my country have suffered enough. To change the history I will start by providing good jobs for every youth starting from the age of 18years of age .
I will equip and mobilizes good security personnel that will help to secure every citizen,
I will try to regulate and allow importers to have freedom in importing and exporting of goods for the citizens.
As a president the citizens well-being will be my goal, I will not be on seat and allow the citizens to suffer because they elected me to lead them aright.

It will be the national duty of a President to serve the people of his country. Because he has come to this power to take care of his people and provide them with all the necessities. For this you have thought to cheapen everything by which we can grow. This is a very good step, when we make things cheaper, everyone will be attracted to it. As you reduce the fees in education then everyone will want to raise their child. Because sometimes there are some families who are not educating their children because the cost of schools is too high. So the point you have noted is very good for the development of our nation. Education is really key and they play a crucial role in shaping the future of the country around. We must make sure the education level of the people there is well sorted out. You really have a point there which is great. There are so many vital point you make mention of here which I must confess I am so impressed and how I wish a whole lot of leaders can be focused and have vision just as you have, their nation will definitely be a better place to be than it is right now.
One of the things I have come to discover that has affected a lot of our countries is the fact that we have poor leaders who are selfish. What do I mean by been selfish, I mean they are just all about themselves and not about others. They are just about their own desire been fulfilled and not others which is extremely dangerous. If we continue to have those types of leaders to lead our countries, our society will not be better as this is even one of the major things my country is suffering right now. All we have are just corrupt leaders who does not care who the civilians but all they just want is to eat the money we much as they can.
But I believe with our collective effort, we can really make our country a better place to be only if we can cooperate that we will work together in changing the narrative, then it is quite possible to do. In fact I have come to discover most of the time, it happens like that when we don't have people whoo have the same mind and same passion. The change must also start from us. It is not only limited to people at the top, whenever we are, we can start showing a perfect example of been a leader . There is so much you have really shared here I must confess I have really learnt a lot. I so much believe our country will definitely be a better place to be in the future only if we are optimistic about it that w want the change.

Everyone expresses their love for their country in a different way, as you expressed in your post, it's great to know how much you want your country to be good and what changes you want to make in it. Due to which your country also goes on the path of development, as you have discussed the very important topic in it, the financial crisis is indeed such a problem that it dominates all our issues. Like education, health, economic system, everything, when you don't come out of the financial crisis, your country can't do anything for development, you can't even think of moving it forward, so the most important thing is that we We have to overcome our financial crisis first and then we can think of development.
