One Picture And One Story Week #9

Hello Steemians,
It's another day to show our creativity with such an amazing contest that goes with the title One Picture And One Story.

I love this contest so much because it brings out the creative power within me. Creativity is all about being able to bring out a tale that will explain the picture under consideration.

In this article today, I have taken into consideration the above picture and my story will revolve around it. I'm sure you all are ready to read and learn from what I will be writing about the above image let's start without further ado.

It was a small town in the eastern part of Africa where a lady who was an orphan grew up knowing only the dog that her parents left to guide her as they were traveling to a distant land not knowing they were not coming back.

The name of the girl is Rose and the name of the dog is Jimmy. After the parents died in a ghastly mother accident, Jimmy was always there trying to care for and protect Rose until Rose got to age.

Jimmy and Rose agreed at some point that he would care for her until she got to age and in return, she would teach him how to read. They both agreed on this and when Rose got age, she started teaching Jimmy how to read.

At some point, Jimmy saw the entire staff as very boring because he wasn't getting it as he thought he could, and that discouraged Rose from teaching him more.

One faithful day, she made up her mind not to teach him more if he didn't get it. But on that very day, Jimmy surprised her even more because he read as though he already had the knowledge and she was very amazed and happy because Jimmy proved that she hadn't been wasting her time all along.

With such joy in her heart, she took Jimmy out to a restaurant where she bought a drink for him and then showed him the town from upstairs where they were taking the drink. She also carried the book with her and always asked Jimmy to read to the hearing of others as she became so proud of her dog since it's the only dog that can read.

A lot of people also came around to admire the reading dog because it was the first that they saw such an amazing thing. So that was how Jimmy and Rose became very popular in the town and beyond and she was visited by people far and near because of the way the dog read.
