Hello beautiful and handsome steemians in this great community and in diaspora, I trust you are absolutely doing great and a happy new week to you all, I am glad that @Hindwhale is one of the hosting communities of engagement challenge season 19, week 1 on the topic "power of communication skills" and I'm so privileged to be participating. "Listen with curiosity. Speak with clarity. Act with kindness; Love with bravery. It's the formula for some really good living."

Now let's see the hint questions:

👉Do you agree with the statement "Communication skill is the power"? Why or why not?

Absolutely; I must say that communication is that key that helps us unlock every other potentials that we may have, and it also helps us to navigate our ways and our dealings through the world in achieving our goals and ambitions.
Okay! Assuming you have a great idea or dream to birth out, without saying or communicating it out, I'm not seeing any possibility of executing it whether orally or in a written form.
Note that: when you communicates, you are sending out information, so effective communication is sharing the right information to the right audience.

For instance: you published a book and you took them to sell and your target audience is the prison; and you went there to speak all the English and grammar that you know; in your mind you're doing marketing; my friends if you like talk from morning till night, no prisoner would pay any attention to you because that wasn't the right audience to sell your books and at that point, I think you've lost your "power of communication skill because you couldn't convinced them to buy your books. Those guys need food not books 😀.

Yes. For instance; I came here I started using my local dialect to write like:

"Ndito Eka mi, ekom do idem mbufo? Menim ke osoñg, akemmi osoñg nko koro Abasi ofon ye Ami etieti ye Ubon mi. Mfin emi anem mien ndikene mbuana ke mbuba Ami. Ndo ufan mbufo @tripple-e."

And you applied your translator, and you don't still seem to comprehend; except people that are from my place and that would make me not to reach out to a wider audience of people that may have loved to either vote or comment, because it is not an official or a recognized language and that can make someone to feel frustrated and lost interest in the rest of the post.
So while you are communicating, speak with clarity and in clear terms, avoid big grammar that when you speak someone would do Huh!.

👉Some historical examples where "Communication skill is the power" led to significant change?

There are so many historians who through their powerful communication skills led to a very big significant change.
Number one on my list is a man known as Nelson Mandela: This man even though he was in prison still uses his power of communication skills to fight against apartheid in South Africa seeking for Freedom and reconciliation, he was able to achieve that because he posses a powerful communication skills and did it through writing letters, interviews, speeches infact any slightest chance he got and he eventually succeeded in dismantling that racist system and this led to a great significant change till date. And today Nelson Mandela is known as the "father of freedom".

Another person is "Martin Luther king Jr whose oratory and powerful communication skills helped in the American civil rights movement; and he posses a persuasive skill which has also paved way for today's legislation.

👉How can one improve their communication skills ?

There are so many ways one can improve on his/her communication skills;

Clarity, Attentiveness, Confidence.
