Steemit Development Incentive Program: My suggestions to the team

Hello everyone.

Steemit
I don't know whether I am eligible to give Steemit Development suggestion. I am having only six months of experience in Steemit. In those period I noticed some minor problem to me. when these are rectified it would be great encouraging all of us. I don't know whether these problem can be rectified or adopted to the blockchain technology. I am sorry if I had suggested anything wrong.

User Friendly Application for Steemit

Now we are using only web browser to login, post and feed. By using the browser, it is some times slow and having some bugs.
For ex: When I am voting 2 or 3 post continuously, the green colour upvoted symbol not showing sometimes. When I upvote again it shows error message and then the vote symbol updated.

If we use seperate Application these small bugs can be eliminated and updated as soon as possible.

Also using the application gives lot of advantages to the steemit team. Most of the social media applications are bringing their users to their app through attractive notification only.

Like this, Steemit team also need to bring customised notification to the user mobile like steemitblog, disconnect, engagement challenge, their friends (following) post, their personal notification(votes, comments, new followers) and other important post that each steemian need to know.

Include a beginners course in steemit

When I was new to steemit. It is hard for me to understand the basics and working of steemit. I started slowly with reading some useful post one by one and gain the basic knowledge. It takes me more than a month to understand the basics of steemit (without help of any body).

Basically I am having interest and free time to learn some basics. But we should not guarantee all users spend their time to learn about steemit after creating account.

I see most of the new user after creating account they post two or three times with only a single photo or just three lines of post (without knowing the rules) and wait for the support. Finally after knowing no one supported (high value votes) their post, simply leave the platform.

To avoid this discontinue, the team should add a simple course (only essential content) to make the user from beginners to intermediate after creating the account itself or step by step in the upcoming days of account creation. The course should contain all the user required basics like what is steemexclusive, clubs, bots, new commer program, CSI, voting power, etc,.

Introduce Direct message option

When we need to talk to a person in steemit, the only way is to contact them through discord or telegram. If the person not given their dicord Id or Telegram Id then how can we contact them in urgent situation.

Team can introduce a personal direct message option to the users. They can introduce some restriction like only message to mutual following account, having block message option (to avoid unwanted spamming message and links).

Introduce a Steem Court

Steemit is a language free, region free platform. So all can bring their voice. But sometimes it cause some clash between the users, admins and mods, powering down community account, wrong label in newcommer community, etc,.

So the team need to bring court like a account (user support) to investigate the problem and give judgement. The Judgement should be only based on the evidence and not based on any region or language or big account influence. This court should have all the rights to give order and it should be obeyed by all (including Admins and mods who following the steemit team rules). From this some of the problem may get solved.

Bring auto text justify

I think 90% of the user who knows some basic markdown style will definitely include text justification to their post. Every time we need to type the code. It can be reduced by bringing Auto text justify. Also bring some new font colour to increase the beauty of the post.

Don't show bit bot voted post to new commers in trending page

When the newcommer see the high payout bot voted post, they may wrongly guided by that post, that "we can earn lot only by sharing a single photo regularly". After knowing the truth they get disappointment and leave the platform or they think we can only earn by bots.

Show them the steemitblog, disconnect contest post, engagement challenge post, Weekly top 5 post selected by curators team, etc,.

Some small suggestions to change

• Changing community during writing a post
• When clicking someone's or our profile it is redirected to their blog not to their post column.
• Search option is not working in mobile browsers.
• Undo, Redo option during writing post.
• Auto word counter during writing post or show the total number of words below each post (easy for curators, authors and others to check).
• Seperate column for pinned post in community.
• Universal tool for plagarism checking, club checking (Minor difference in each tool).
• Need a single vote to see the beneficiary of others. (Give solution)
• Images auto fit according to the paragraph allignment.
• Auto translate other language post based on user prefered language.
• Achievement 1 should be verified faster (More delay can give bad impression among Newcommers).
• Give warning message while clicking unauthorised link. (To protect from phishing).
