On this occasion I would like to tell about a contest held by steemit namely Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 6 - Week 1, in the selected community Hind Whale Community which was made with the theme What outdoor games did you play as a child that aren't famous worldwide? This is one of the best themes for me because when I was a child, of course, it was very fun.

• Marble Game

The game of marbles is one of the traditional games that never goes away even now, this game is very much liked by children in the past until now. This marbles game also usually has a season and not always or every day we play, we will still play this game only during the season.

This game of marbles has also been passed down from the grandparents of the city in the past. The shape of the marbles is also very round like a ball, but the shape of these marbles is very small. These marbles also have their own motifs and the colors are also very many and you also know how beautiful the colors and motifs are.

The way to play these marbles is to prepare the marbles we have and how many we have and invite friends who are willing to play these marbles at least we can play with 5 or more people too. Then we put some of the marbles to play together so that it becomes more fun. Then put the marbles in the box that the city made on the ground then play the marbles and whoever hits the marbles in the box, we get the marbles.

• Kite

Kite is one of our traditional games in Indonesia (aceh). We also played these kites when we were little and we played this game in the field or in the harvested rice fields. We also made these kites with bamboo that we looked for in other people's gardens and made them together at home.

After making kites with bamboo, we decorated them with colorful paper that we bought at the shop and the kites turned out very well if we decorated them with colorful paper. The way to play this kite is to find the direction of the wind where the wind speed is so that the kite can fly.

Then find a friend to help us in flying this kite so it's easy and this kite also can't be lifted alone, but two people are required. After raising the kite, we enjoy how it flies above and sometimes the kite asks for high or low. Or in more detail, how to raise the kite, that is, one friend holds the kite, then we release the thread from the spool and the length of the free thread we give a signal to let go of the kite, then give the high thread for the kite and enjoy the kite - kite when above.

• Hide and seek game

This hide and seek game is one of the most exciting games. The way to play this game is very simple, starting from determining which friend is looking for or acting as a search for friends who are hiding. The role player will later close his eyes and count up to the amount we agreed with friends then the other friends will hide and the role player will look for his friends until they are all found.

• Rattan walk

This rattan swing was one of my games when I was in elementary school and this game is a sport every hour I play it. This game is also played using a large rattan to be rotated on the stomach or close to the waist. This rattan swing also plays by shaking the body, especially at the waist or abdomen. This game has been around for a long time but is now starting to disappear. The way to play it is to insert the rattan in the circular body part to the body and then rotate the rattan using our body and which player will stop rotating his body will be declared a loser.
