Hi Steemians,
It's another day to write and I'm delighted to share my entry in this contest organized by @jyoti-thelight in this noble community which talks about power up. It's a wonderful contest and I'm delighted to share my entry.

Here in this publication, I'm going to guide you on a step-by-step way you can be able to build your account by powering up your earned Steem. So follow me as we move ahead.

Step 1: Ensure you have completely signed in to your account using your posting, active or master key and ensure that your wallet is in the format of the screenshot below.

Step 2: Click on the drop-down bottom beside the Steem as seen in the screenshot below and then click on the power-up option.

Step 3: Enter the amount of the Steem you need to power up in my case, I want to power up everything as you can see from the screenshot below and then click on power up.

Step 4: Click ok to confirm that you are ready to transfer to vesting as you can see from the screenshot below.

Step 5: Check the SP area and be sure that the Steem has moved from the location of Steem to that of SP as seen in the screenshot below.

Write the importance of performing powerup.

The importance of powering up is so that we can build our SP and also support other users with it. Aside from that, we also will earn good curation rewards by just voting on other people's content. With a good SP, I don't need to stress writing daily instead I will use the time to vote and support others while I earn a curation reward.

Another reason why you need to power up often is to become a shareholder on the platform and earn good money because with more Steem you have more money. You can also be able to put a smile on the faces of others by so doing.
