"[CONTEST] My feelings about server down of Steemit|| by @user".

Hello friends, I'm delighted to share my opinion on this contest today which talks about my feeling about the server down of the steemit platform which took place a few days ago. The server down time is indeed a thing to be worried about.

▶️ What initial steps did you take when unable to access on Steemit ?

When I tried to access my steemit account and I notice it wasn't working, I thought it was network at the beginning so I switched to different network but it kept showing same thing.

I tried opening other things and I notice that they are opening so I decided to call and ask others if they are having access to their account and they said no. Then I knew it was a general problem. So I was a bit relief since it wasn't only my account.

▶️ Tell us how you felt after 5 hours of not being able to access on Steemit

It was not an easy experience because it is the first time I'm having such an experience. I thought that the platform has also closed just like every other platform which I was initially investing in.

I try to check it almost every one hour to be sure if it will come back. At some point I got tired and I stop checking it because I was a bit confident when I heard they maybe doing an upgrade.

▶️ Tell us how you felt after 24 hours of not being able to access on Steemit

I thought all is gone even with the assurance I got that this happens once a while because I was told that it doesn't take up to 24 hours. But in this occasion, it was even more than that time.

So I just forgot about it because I was already losing hope and not having anything to keep myself busy.

▶️ What do you think is the possible cause of the server down ?

I heard it is server upgrade and that is the reason I wasn't too worried about the entire issues because I'm sure I haven't invested much as I joined the platform not long ago.

So I don't have much knowledge about server down don't was just asking those who were there already to explain to me and they always say maybe is maintenance.

I was so happy when I finally accessed my profile. It was a wasted day though because I wasn't able to post and more also, I was able to logging and see that all my asset are still very safe.

Now I believe what they were saying about the server issues. Today I can boldly tell anyone about this when next it happen.
