What is security

Security is the basic and important thing in doing any type of work . As we know that nothing is secure without the involvement of security and privacy.Like all other websites Steemit also prefer to be secure and safe on the Steemit Journey. Here are some basic things to do for better security and privacy on Steemit platform.

Here are the answers of questions about security system on steemit.

Question#01

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Yes, of course everyone needs security on their accounts or websites .
So l also have retrieved all my steemit keys in my personal laptop, mobile and inUSB. I also have copied these keys on a piece of paper which is saved in my file.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Yes, I know the function and restrictions of each steemit key.

Here are some details of these keys.

Posting key

The posting key is used for longing in and for the purpose of making blogs,contents,comments,up votes, for access to the notifications and all other social activities.

Active Key

The purpose of the active key is all about the transfer,power up , power down, made transactions and other wallet actions. It is used for transferring SBD,STEEM,TRX, to any other accounts and to buy more steem.

Owner Key

The owner key is used for some of the Social, Wallet as well as the Recovery actions of our account. It is the most powerful key because this is used to recover our account keys and to change all of the keys including the owner key itself.

Memo Key

The function of memo key is to make memos which are used for the encrypted message and send and receive encrypted messages privately.

Master Password

It is the most important and the most delicate key which is used to reset all of our other keys. It is the password which is assigned to us when we signed up our account. It is most important to keep it more safe and secure as it can be used to access our all other keys. We should not share this key with anyone to ensure your security and privacy on the way throughout the Steemit Journey.

Question 03

How do you plan to keep your master password?
Yes I have kept all of my password in a secure place. i.e, in my notepad of mobile phone, on a piece of paper,in USB and also in my e-mail to ensure my security requirements.

Question 04

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Yes, Off course, I know quite well about it. I was not well aware about that. but then I take some information from my Steemit Friend my friend told me if I want to transfer Steam.

Step 1

First of all, you have to go to your wallet and then click on transfer. As shown in the screenshot below.

Step 2

Then give the name of the account to which I want to transfer Steam and write the amount.

Step 3

At the end I have done the next tasks with the active key, and the steam will be transferred.
Then click on the ok button to transfer steem.
This was the simple method to transfer the steem.

Question 05

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Yes I know very well about the powering up of the STEEM token .

Again go your wallet and click on power up button to power up the steem

Click on the powerup button also put the amount of steem.

Remind that your steempower is not transferred to steem instantly again it takes time almost 1 month to convert back into steem.
