Today i am hare to complete my achievement 3 task : content etiquette.

What is plagiarism?

The idea or thoughts of others steals and passes as one's own, Without submitting the source.
If you copy and paste text verbatim from a source without giving credit then its called plagiarism.
Accepting the words and ideas of others, be it written text, video content, music or images and stealing them by pretending to be your own.

We all have the ability to think. Get something out of our heads. We should do something from our own ideas. When we do something from our own ideas, it is entirely our own. Then there is no possibility of it being copyrighted. This is one of the ways to avoid plagiarism.

Use quotation sign to indicate that the text has been taken from another source

If words, ideas, thoughts that are not owning you but taken from another source, then it need to be cited.

There are many plagiarism checkers out there, you can use them to avoid plagiarism.

Plagiarism also includes a peculiar design, an individual form of a new work.

Copyright refers to the legal right of the owner of intellectual property. In simpler terms, copyright is the right to copy. This means that the original creators of products and anyone they give authorization to are the only ones with the exclusive right to reproduce the work.

Copyright law gives creators of original material the exclusive right to further use and duplicate that material for a given amount of time, at which point the copyrighted item becomes public domain. Source

Or, for example, I will take a photo from Google for a post in Steemit and post it without a mark to the source. This will also be plagiarism.
In general, in modern life full of events, it is very difficult to track the possible appearance of plagiarism in one form or another, therefore, when creating his own unique product in a creative, technical or other field, the author needs to protect himself as much as possible by taking certain steps. This problem remains relevant to this day, especially on the Internet, where an understandable global system of protection against this scourge has not yet been developed.
