Achievement 2 task on basic security on steem

Good day all! Today, permit me to walk you through with my #Achievement2 task verification by answering some of the important questions for me to pass the verification.

Question 1: Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Yes, I was able to retrieve all the keys on steamit account.
The following are the different type of steemit keys; Posting Key, active key,owner key, memo key, master key, as well as the TRX account private key.
It can also be found in your steemit wallet under keys and permission tab.

Question 2: Do you know each of these keys functions and restrictions?

Yes, I did alot of reading to understanding the functions and restrictions of these keys. These are some of the steemians: @steemitblog, @cryptokannon and @jammyroberts publish an article that I found on steemit that helped me to widen my thoughts about it's functions and restrictions. It is also stated in your steemit wallet how you are expected to use each keys and where the keys are applicable, such as:

POSTING KEY

Use your posting key when logging into your account. It is used for social networking actions, like posting, engaging with other steamians, upvoting and resteeming.
It has limited set of permissions and can not be used to transfer any coun, token or dollars from your wallet.

ACTIVE KEY

It is a much higher set of permissions than the posting key.
This key is used for any monetary related actions to your wallet either transferring to an exchange wallet, another steemit wallet and powering up your account. Be VIGILANT when using this key.

OWNER KEY

This key allows you to change other keys as well as retrieve your account when something goes wrong. This should not be and will never be shared with anyone as well as other keys. It is the most important key and should be stored safely.

MEMO KEY

It is the key used for decrypting and encrypting messages and it is not used often.

Question 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?

After downloading my steemit keys I securely save it to my phone, and even copied it on paper and kept in save in my drawer.

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem account?

Yes by asking my steemian friend @jammyroberts I was able to transfer steem token to another steem user account. To do that simply go to your steem wallet under STEEM go to transfer input the other user account,

confirm vesting,input your active key and right there and then the steem goes to the steemit wallet of the other steemians account.

Question 5: Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

YES. I do know how to power up my steem. Go to your steemit wallet,under STEEM go to power up, transfer steem to your account, confirm vesting, input your active key and right there and then the steem goes to your STEEM POWER .
