¡Hola queridos Steemians es un placer conocerlos!. Debo decir que me alegra mucho haber tenido el valor para al fin hacer mi introducción, es mi primera vez en una comunidad como esta. Mi nombre es Romina Machin, tengo 26 años, vivo en la isla de Margarita en Venezuela.

Soy la mayor de tres hermanos, realmente son hermanastros pero nunca me he puesto a pensar detenidamente en eso ya que desde mi punto de vista siguen siendo familia y siempre me he referido a ellos como hermanos. Mis hermanos son dos adolescentes, el del medio tiene 20 años y la menor tiene 15 años, sé que algunos no consideran 20 años como adolescencia pero para mí aún lo son.

Como viví la mayor parte de mi vida con mi padre no sé muy bien como socializar con ellos, pero estoy trabajando en ello, como todos los que tenemos hermanos solemos tener discusiones. A pesar de tener discusiones siempre trato de incentivarlos a pensar en grande o ser mejores personas. Ya les hablé mucho de ellos, ahora les contaré sobre mi.

Fui a la universidad dos veces, en distintas universidades, la primera vez estudié la mitad de la carrera Administración. Elegí esa carrera porqué realmente no sabía qué estudiar, ya que mi padre me estaba presionando para que entrará rápido en una universidad. Debido a la situación del país, los profesores se fueron del país para buscar una mejor vida en otro país. Así fue como poco a poco nos quedamos sin profesores y dado a que ir todos los días a la universidad era para mi una odisea de una hora de ida y una de vuelta (o más), sin profesores que me dieran clases además de que el gastó era grande por ser universidad paga. Lo dejé.

La segunda vez que fui a la universidad, una diferente a la anterior, elegí estudiar algo que me apasionara más así que escogí estudiar Audiovisuales y fotografía. Estaba muy feliz de que al fin había encontrado algo a nivel universitario en esta isla que me llamará la atención, pero en ese entonces la situación en mi país empeoró y comenzaron las tan llamadas guarimbas que hacía el viaje a la universidad bastante peligroso. También algunas cosas sucedieron en mi vida y lo dejé.

Mis gustos:

Disfruto mucho de la música, respeto que todos tengamos diferentes estilos musicales que nos gusten ya que al final cada quién es feliz a su manera, también me gusta mucho leer libros y ver películas, sobre todo de terror o simplemente algo que me llamé la atención. A veces ahí esta la magia.

Me gusta también escribir ya sea reflexiones o poemas (o ambas mezcladas), más tengo mucho tiempo sin hacerlo, últimamente disfruto de andar mucho en bicicleta y retarme para ver que tan lejos llego cada nuevo día. Nunca en mi vida había disfrutado tanto de ello hasta que empezaron a cerrar los gimnasios debido a la pandemia y mi meta por tener mejor salud se vio estancada.

Me apasiona también la repostería y cocinar, no todo, solo lo que me llamé la atención y es más que todo hornear. En este pasado año debido a la cuarentena tuve mucho tiempo libre y aprendí por mi misma a hacer muchos postres, incluso pan. ¡Jamás en mi vida creería que aprendería a hacer pan! Realmente lo disfruto aunque no sea precisamente fácil. He aprendido a descubrir poco a poco lo que me apasiona o gusta y todavía estoy en proceso de descubrimiento. ¿No es cada día un nuevo día para descubrirnos un poco más? Nunca es tarde.

Suelo ser introvertida generalmente así que el que logrará esto, es un gran paso para mí, daré lo mejor de mi. Debo admitir que crear esta cuenta fue toda una odisea porque no entendía absolutamente nada esta comunidad, creé la cuenta aproximadamente una semana o un poco más y todo ese tiempo estuve leyendo algunos artículos. Créanme que de tanto leer tanta información sobre esta comunidad, para no equivocarme garrafalmente al comienzo, hizo que me doliera la cabeza algunos días.

Espero pronto poder entender mejor la comunidad y el cómo participar más en ella, me ha gustado mucho lo que he visto por ahora. Me enteré de ella gracias a la esposa de mi padre, la duda de ¿cómo sería Steemit? No me dejó en paz hasta que finalmente me puse a leer al respecto y me registré. Ver cómo algunos han logrado metas que tienen gracias a Steemit me ha motivado mucho, ya que yo también tengo metas que me gustaría lograr y el país hace que lograr tus metas sea increíblemente difícil, aún más en cuarentena. Así que apreciaría mucho cualquier explicación que me puedan dar, pero incluso si me es algo confuso no me voy a rendir.

Hello dear Steemians is a pleasure to meet you. I must say that I'm happy that I had the courage to finally do my introduction, it's my first time in a community like this. My name is Romina Machin, I'm 26 years old and I live in Margarita Island in Venezuela.

I'm the eldest of three siblings, they are actually my stepbrothers but I've never gave it much of a thought since my point of view they still being family and I have always referred to them as my siblings. My siblings are two teenagers, the middle one is 20 years old and the little one is 15 years old, I know that some people don't consider 20 years old as being teenager but for me it still is.

As I lived the most of my life with my father I don't know very well how to socialize with them, but I'm working on it, as everyone that have siblings we tend to have arguments. Despite having arguments I always try to encourage them to think bigger or be a better person. I've talked a lot about them, now I will talk about myself.

I went to college twice, at different universities, the first time I studied half of the career of management. I chose that career because didn't know what to study and because my father was pushing me to start the university faster. Due to the country's situation, the teacher's left the country to seek a better life in another country. That's how we were gradually left out without professors, and since assisting every day was a journey of comings and goings, 1 hour each(or more). With not professors for lectures, plus a considerable expense because it was a private university. So I decided to quit.

The second time I went to the college, a different one from the previous one, I chose to study something that I was more passionate about, so I chose to study Audiovisuals and photography. I was very happy that I had finally found something at a college level in this island that catched my attention, but at that time the situation in my country worsened and began that so-called guarimbas who made the trip to the university dangerous. Also some stuff happened in my life and I decided to quit.

Hobbies:

I really enjoy music, I respect that we all have different musical styles that we live because in the end everyone is happy in their own way, I also really like reading books and watching movies, especially horror movies or just something that catches my attention. Sometimes that's how you get results.

I also like to write either reflections or poetry(or both mixed), but I have a lot of time without doing it, lately I enjoy riding my bike a lot and challenging myself to see how far I go each new day. I had never enjoyed it so much in my life until gyms started closing due to the pandemic and my goal of having better health was stalled.

I'm also passionate about baking and cooking, not everything, only what catches my attention and that's mostly baking. In this past year due to quarantine I had a lot of free time and I learn by myself to cook many desserts, even bread. I never had tough that I would learn how to make bread! I really enjoy it, even though it's not exactly easy. I have learned to discover little by little why I'm passionate about or like and in still in the process of discovering myself. Isn't every day a new day to discover ourselves a little more? It's never too late.

Generally I tend to be an introvert so I believe that being able to do this is a big step for me. I must admit that creating this account was quite a journey because I didn't understand this community at all, I created the account for about a week ago or a little longer and all that time I was reading some articles. Believe me, I got a headache that lasted days from reading so much information to not make any grossly mistakes at the beginning.

I hope soon to be able to understand the community better and how to participate more in it, I really like what I have seen so far. I found out about it thanks to my father's wife, wondering how would Steemit be like? The doubt didn't left me alone until I finally started reading about it and signed up. Seeing how some people have achieved their goals thanks to Steemit has motivated me a lot, since I also have goals that I would like to achieve and the country makes achieving your goals incredibly difficult, even more in quarantine. So I would really appreciate any explanation of how Steemit works that you can give me, but even if it's somewhat confusing to me I will not give up.
