Plagiarism is a situation when someone copy another man's work, ideas without giving credit to the person. plagiarism can also be when someone paraphrased or change the words of someone's work and replace with his own words.
plagiarism is bad and is not supported either by the Government, the society and other major platforms like steemit. It is also unfortunate many practice this illegal act without knowing. The Government, steemit have set out rules to protect individuals from content theft.
Plagiarism can be done on someone's post, books, quotes, films, music. The victim claims ownership on another man's hard work and ideas or take out part of information from another man's idea without citing the person. Plagiarism is therefore been practiced in different ways which some of them are?
Direct plagiarism
This happens when someone copies the exact information from someone else post, books or write-up without the persons knowledge and without even given credit to the person.
Accidental plagiarism
Accidental plagiarism happens mostly because of ignorance. many people at times don't see the importance of citing others when they copy their work and some don't even see the necessity in it.
Mosaic plagiarism

Plagiarism also have some consequences that can affect the victim which are:
plagiarism brings about laziness as it make you less creative and unprofessional
It also have legal repercussions that can be carried out by the state or by a platform like steemit.
