Good afternoon it's time to move on to my next achievement content tag. which will be very useful in our stay in steemit :
Plagiarism:
Plagiarism is the practice of taking credit for someone else's words or ideas. It's an act of intellectual dishonesty. In colleges and universities, it violates honor codes and can cause irreparable damage to a person's reputation. It also comes with serious consequences; a plagiarized assignment may lead to a failing grade, a suspension, or an expulsion. Source
As we can see plagiarism, is practically a robo steemit rewards its users for creating original and good quality content, where there is no room for plagiarism, users who create content day by day, must abide by these rules because if they incur plagiarism they can be silenced and banned from the communities.
Most common types of plagiarism :
Accidental plagiarism: The user who is taking other people's content and forgets to cite and mention the sources could be committing accidental plagiarism.
Mosaic Plagiarism: When a text is composed of different investigations of other users, they are added to a single content.
Complete plagiarism: The user completely steals another user's post, and posts the content without making any changes to it and making everyone believe it's their job.
Self-plagiarism: if a user plagiarizes himself as this happens ? well, if the user uses his own content repeatedly.
Consequences of plagiarism in steemit :
That we are not taken into account, if they catch committing plagiarism can silence us many communities are very strict with this issue.
That the good work of the users is compromised by this bad practice
How to avoid
First of all let's not copy others let's be honest within the platform that is the best way to avoid it, something also of great importance is to use the method of citations and place the sources to cite remember to place the quotation marks to the texts that are not of our authorship, and mention the author of the texts.
