Do you know what steemit passwords are for?

Yes, I can explain what each key that comes with the document that is downloaded when the user's registration in Steemit is completed. These keys or passwords are four, each with a specific function because these keys are divided into: active key, publication key, owner key and memo key.

POSTING KEY is the password that we are going to use the most, because it is the one that has to be written every time you want to log in to Steemit, among the functions it has are what it is to make content and publications, vote positively or negatively to the publications we visit, respond to other users, also visit the profiles of other users, and also follow the people we want.

ACTIVE KEY as such is the password that will be used to enter the wallet. The wallet or wallet is where you can review and manage the money you have in Steem or Steem Dollar, there you can change the SBDs earned to Steems, also make transfers from Steem or SBD to other Steemit users, make steems to Steem Power ignitions. In the wallet is where you can collect the winnings that we have obtained from healing rewards.

OWNER KEY is the password with which we can modify when we want the original keys assigned to us by Steemit, except for the master key. This key will help us ensure the security of the rest of the keys, feet changing them we can keep the Steemit account safe.

MEMO KEY is the password that allows the user to both encrypt the operations it processes, and decrypt the transactions of third parties where the user is involved.

MASTER KEY is the password that is assigned to the user when the Steemit account is created. The use of this key is what gives access to the rest of Steemit keys, the loss of this password will prevent the user from having access to their account.

How do you keep your Steemit master key?

As the master password can only be obtained once, if it is lost it can not be recovered anymore. That's why it's important to keep it in safe places. I saved it in my cloud storage account, as well as leaving a copy on the PC for when I have to log in.

Do you know how to make a steems transfer to another user?

Yes, to make a transfer to another user you need to go to the wallet to perform the operation.

When we are logged in, we must look for the Transfer option, we find it in the amount of Steem we have. When we click on the amount of Steem, the word Transfer will appear, there we click so that we can do the operation.

On the next page, we will place the name of the user who is going to receive the transfer, we will also place the amount of Steems that we are going to transfer, when you have placed this, we give you accept to complete the transfer.

Do you know how to power up your account?

In the case of doing a power up, what you have to do is enter the wallet again, after registering correctly, we look for the option to do Power up. In the same way we did when we made the transfer, we click on the amount of Steem we have, to find the Power up option and be able to start the operation as such.

Now on the next page that we will see, we will have to place the amount of Steem that we want to convert to Steem Power, it can be turned on until the full balance of Steems that we have at the moment. When we have done this we give you the accept to complete the Power up.
