Achievement 3 by @lakshi Task : Content Etiquette
Hello steemit community, today I come with the goal of reaching my third achievement, very grateful to all those who have accompanied and guided me so far, so it is time to start.
What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism is making someone else's content yours, usurping other people's copyrights. And although daily we see different types of plagiarism and we can consider it something everyday, but even so there is no need to reduce the negative effect that the same entails to true authors, that is why the importance of granting their due recognition. Plagiarism is not the right way to want to honor or take something as inspiration. So if here at Steemit we want to share something and mention someone else's message, it's important to give credit in the right way.
Not only is it necessary to refer to where we get the information, we also have to quote the text with "quotation marks" along with the bibliographic reference of that source.

Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional. Under the regulations for examinations, intentional or reckless plagiarism is a disciplinary offence.source
We can observe two things, the first is an example of how to cite a source both as text and image and give its correct credit. At the same time we see how it is important for people who work in the digital sector to take this reality of plagiarism and be the most empathetic and correct when sharing information that is not ours. We take care of a bad time and thus give recognition to other content creators.
