Hello everybody. Assalam-O-Alaikum and welcome to my this post. Hopefully, all of you will be good and happy with the blessings of Almighty God. Today I am here to represent the Achievement 03. As I have completed my first 2 achievements tasks so let's start our achievement 3 here. The topic of discussion for this task is Plagiarism.
What is plagiarism?
When we heard a word plagiarism Plagiarism is a abused term means to steal and pass off others thoughts or imaginations as one's own. In simple words, plagiarism is the act of taking the words and ideas of other people and saying they are your own without citing the source of the material. The plagiarized material may contain photos,quotes,images,videos or any other matter. It is simply the use of others material as his own without taking permission or crediting the real author. There are many kinds of plagiarism but some main kind.
how to prevent from plagiarism?
The very first thing and the best way to prevent plagiarism is to not take anything from the google or internet. Use your own vocabulary and ideas about the content to create quality content. This is the best way to avoid
Secondly, if something impresses you a lot from the internet and you want to use that thing in your content then you must have to completely cite the copied text, image, or anything else. Here the word 'cite' means to give the proper source of the copied thing by pasting a link of that thing to avoid plagiarism.
araphrasing is changing the thoughts or information on a source into your own terms without modifying its unique circumstance. Be that as it may be careful, the rewording can fall into copyright infringement whenever done inaccurately.So be so careful while doing such a work.
Disadvantages of Plagiarized content
Plagiarism is also a bad act in the case of personal respect. The community members and the steemit team look at the plagiarist with a black eye.
I have told before that the plagiarism is a very bad habit and considered to be a very bad thing in the Steemit platform as well so there are some disadvantages of spreading the plagiarized content on Steemit.
The plagiarized content is not supported in any of the communities.
