Good evening to everyone in the newcomers community ,I'm @jaminsamuel and I'm very happy to see that my achievement2 has been verified, so today I'm here for my achievement 3, so I'm here to share my knowledge about content etiquette

Content etiquette

This refers to the rules that abides one's content. Users have rules to follow concerning what to post so as to make good and quality contents on steemit and the most important rule is avoid plagiarism, what is plagiarism , i will explain in detail what is plagiarism so that you can avoid it

plagiarism

This is an art of stealing one's content and claiming it as your own, like using copy and paste.this is a crime, why did I say so. Imagine you are trying to write your next big movie as a script writer l, you thought about it all day wrote the movie, every little details about it then at night someone sneaks in your room i copied your info on a flash drive, before you realized what's happening the guy is now called the best writer and the movie was made and he took all the credit for your hard work, how will you feel ? That's why steemit is doing there best to protect author's from this threat . Now what are the types of plagiarism,i will explain r types of plagiarism

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

direct plagiarism

This is when one directly copies and pastes someone's content without giving credit to the original author

self plagiarism

It's when an author copies his previous work and posting it as a new content. Even if that's your content it's still plagiarism

mosaic plagiarism

This is when one copies the content of another author paraphrases it, just like changing the work but making the same points, even if the words are not the same that's plagiarism

accidental plagiarism

This happens when one after coping the content of another source or author then forgets or ignores to give the credit to the author but adding the author's link

So this are types of plagiarism which we should avoid and below is an example of how you can give credit to an author by make a citation

music, art concerned with combining vocal or instrumental sounds for beauty of form or emotional expression, usually according to cultural standards of rhythm, melody, and, in most Western music, harmony. Both the simple folk song and the complex electronic composition belong to the same activity, music

I have read and understood the steemit etiquette on steemit community and I will do my best to embrace them

“You must use one of the citation examples described in the explanation of achievement 3, For this you must make a post of no less than 200 words of your authorship about what plagiarism is and additionally include the aforementioned examples (they will not be counted within 200 words)”.
