What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism means using someone else's work or ideas as one's own, with or without permission. Simply put, if you associate someone else's work with your own without their consent, it will be considered plagiarism. Theft may be intentional or unintentional. Yet it is theft. It has no features. We must stay away from theft at all times.

Types of plagiarism

We see a kind of theft, which is a serious violation of our educational integrity. If this trend continues, plagiarism in scientific activities will increase day by day. We need to take legal action against this theft. Now, I will explain the most important type of theft that should not be used on Steamite. They are-

  • Direct plagiarism
  • Self plagiarism
  • Mosaic plagiarism
  • Accidental plagiarism
  • Direct plagiarism

Direct plagiarism

means that if someone completely copies a piece of your content without your permission, it will be called plagiarism. Direct theft is the most serious crime. Theft is an immoral act, so there are provisions for disciplinary action, including expulsion.

Self plagiarism

Self-theft means.
If someone uses someone's work over and over again in different places without permission, it is self-theft. An example of putting it in simple language is Dicchi - suppose a student submits the same assignments to different classes without the prior permission of the professors. This is called theft itself.

Mosaic plagiarism

Mosaic plagiarism means that if a person mixes a quote from another place without using quotation marks, that is, some part from one place and another part from another place thus completes the whole part, ie the structure of the original work. Maintains This work is called mosaic theft. This is a punishable offense. Completion of academic work is prohibited.

Accidental plagiarism

Accidental theft means that a person is researching something, so he may need a lot of things, he will be able to use the necessary things, but he has to mention the source of those things. But if one forgets to give that source, it is called accidental plagiarism
Everyone needs to learn how to cite their sources and be careful when doing research. It is as immoral and punishable as any other robbery.

How to avoid plagiarism

Stealing is the use of someone else's thing or idea without permission. If you want to use something without stealing it, you must include the source of the topic correctly. Only then is it possible to avoid theft.
