Good day everyone!!! With this article, I’m going to present my achievement 3 article which is "Content Etiquette". Before this I have already submitted my Achievement &1 Achievement 2. Thank You @thimalteb for the guidance that you are always giving.

Achievement 1,
Achievement 2
What is plagiarism?
Simply plagiarism is stealing someone else work, article contents without a proper permission of the owners or writers.

"Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional. Under the regulations for examinations, intentional or reckless plagiarism is a disciplinary offence." Source
So with this article I am going to brief about the different types of plagiarism and the way to overcome those mistakes.
According to ThoughtCo. Web site the plagiarism can be divided into four main categories.
Direct plagiarism- This is the worst way of plagiarism among the other methods. Because this plagiarism happened after the content is being copied without changing a single word and failed to mention the sources and citations clearly.
Paraphrased plagiarism- This is the most popular way of caught as plagiarized. This happens by publishing a content by changing very few of the original content. Yes, it is changed but still, the idea remains as same.
Mosaic plagiarism- This way of plagiarism is somewhat difficult to detect. This is a combination of both direct and paraphrased plagiarism because this happens after replacing the original work with similar words.
Accidental plagiarism- When someone was unable to cite the sources and citations properly without intentionally this plagiarism will happen.

Way to get rid of being plagiarized
So try to use quotation mark after taking a sentence or a phrase directly, try to give own ideas when taking an idea from someone else or website work and mention the clear sources after taking a picture from somewhere. So if u continue to follow these steps, then you will not be able to get downvotes, lose reputation, or will not be banned from the steemit platform.
