Question 1: Have you retrieved all your keys on Steemit?
Ans: Yes I have right from the first day I signed up.
Question 2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
a. Owner Key: Used to recover a hacked or compromised account within 30 days, it is also used to reset all the other keys.
b. Master Key: It is the password you get upon signing up, It is use to generate or retrieve all the other keys including the owner Key, the only reason you should be using the master password is when you going through account recovering
c: Posting Key: It is used to log into apps such as Steemit.com, also used to perform social actions such as posting, commenting, voting, editing, resteem and to follow or mute other accounts.
d. Active Key: Used for transferring tokens, powering Steem up and down, updating profile details and avatar, voting for witnesses, placing a market order, and converting Steem dollars.
e. Memo Key: Used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds.
Question 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?
Ans: I have saved it with the other keys in my Google drive and also saved the keys in my email on Google docs, then I made a copy of the keys and kept it where my important documents are.
Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your Steem token to another Steem user account?
STEP 1: Log into your steem wallet with your active Key
Or alternatively click on your profile and click on wallet
STEP 2: In your wallet click on your Steem balance and then click on transfer
STEP 3: Fill in the necessary informations, such as the name of the Steem account you transferring to, the amount of steem you want to send and the memo if any.. then click on next
STEP 4: Confirm the transaction and click ok Complete the transaction by logging in with your active, owner, or master password..
Question 5: Do you know how to power up your Steem?
STEP 1: Go to your wallet through your profile or logging in your wallet with the active Key.
Click on Steem and then click on power up
STEP 2: Input the amount of Steem you want to power up then click on power up..
STEP 3: Confirm transaction by clicking on OK and then complete transaction by logging in with your owner,master, or active Key
