Achievement 2 @felipesr task: Basic Security on Steem

Hi everyone, for the second achievement I will give a short but effective definition of each of the concepts to be aware of for new users as myself. Big thanks to @cryptokannon to help me introduce and understand this terms.

The importance of each concept will go from the highest to lowest priority to get a better understanding of each (Memo key does not count in this priority ordenance):

Master key
It is the most relevant key as from this one given all the remaining keys are obtained. Is the seed term. Having an offline backup is highly recommended.

Owner key
The owner key is used to reset the three below mentioned keys. Furthermore, you can use this key to recover your account as well as declining voting rights. Having an offline backup is highly recommended.

Active key
This key is used for tasks such as power up/down your Steem Power, transferring funds, converting Steem Dollars, voting for witnesses, as well as placing market order and updating profile details and avatar.

Posting key
The posting key allows you to post, comment, edit, vote reestem and follow or mute other accounts.

Memo key
This key is used to encrypt or decrypt private transfer memos.

Once all the keys have been described, we can move on to the Steemit Wallet. This is where we can find three different terms:

Steem: in this first definition is the Steem cryptocurrency, so its liquidity is immediate. This allows us to transfer it to other accounts or use it to increase our Steem Power, which is quite important to be able to grow within the platform.

Steem power: Steem power is very important when it comes to growing on the platform. Considering it as a long-term investment is fundamental to be able to have more relevance in your interactions, as well as to have more capacity for healing, voting and possibilities for more people to follow you. It is possible to increase Steem Power and decrease it. It is best not to decrease it, as your account will thank you in the long run.

SBD-Steem Backed dollars: this type of element is also liquid, but it is intended to be more stable or less volatile than Steem, so if you prefer to convert some of your Steems to SBD in case of big increases it can be a good move. Also, as with Steem, we can transfer or send SBD to another account or another exchange.

Now I am going to teach you two important and relevant steps to do in this platform: the power up and transferring of tokens. As we are interested in a bigger Steem power to be more influential, it is essential to know this step in order to proceed.

First you go to your Steemit wallet, and click on the option "Power Up".

After this, you will select the amount of steem that you will like to power up. In my case, I will power up 7.921 Steem tokens to Steem power.

You will click "ok" to confirm the transfer and the power up process will be completed, and introduce your active or owner key, or you can opt to introduce your master password.

Lastly, we will learn how to make a transfer. First, you will need to go once again to your wallet and once there, select the option "Transfer".

Then you will select the user you want to make the transfer to. In this case, I have decided to send this trivial amount to one of my followers: @bchioma.

You will once again confirm your transfer and introduce either your active or owner key, or your master password.

Hola a todos, para este segundo logro proporcionaré una corta pero efectiva descripción de cada uno de los conceptos para que los nuevos usuarios puedan entender de mejor forma estos conceptos. Muchas gracias a @cryptokannon por ayudarme a presentar y por introducirme estos términos.

La importancia de cada concepto irá de mayor a menor prioridad para lograr una mejor comprensión de cada uno (la clave Memo no cuenta en este orden de prioridad):

Master key
Es la clave más relevante ya que todas las demás claves se obtienen a partir de ella. Es el término semilla. Es muy recomendable tener una copia de seguridad offline.

Owner key
La owner key se utiliza para restablecer las tres claves mencionadas a continuación. Además, puede utilizar esta clave para recuperar su cuenta, así como la disminución de los derechos de voto. Es muy recomendable tener una copia de seguridad sin conexión.

Active key
Esta clave se utiliza para tareas como aumentar/disminuir su Poder Steem, transferir fondos, convertir Dólares Steem, votar por testigos, así como realizar una orden de mercado y actualizar los detalles del perfil y del avatar.

Posting key
La clave de publicación le permite publicar, comentar, editar, votar reestem y seguir o silenciar otras cuentas.

Memo key
Esta clave se utiliza para cifrar o descifrar notas de transferencia privados.

Una vez descritas todas las claves, podemos pasar a la Steemit Wallet o Cartera. Aquí es donde nos podemos encontrar con tres términos diferentes:

Steem: en este primer caso tenemos la criptomoneda Steem, por lo que su liquidez es inmediata. Esto nos sirve para poder transferirla a otras cuentas o utilizarlo para poder aumentar nuestro Steem Power, que es bastante importante para poder crecer dentro de la plataforma.
Steem power: el Steem power es toma mucha relevancia a la hora de poder crecer en la plataforma. Considerarlo como una inversión a largo plazo es fundamental para poder tener más relevancia es tus interacciones, además de tener más capacidad de curación, de voto y de posibilidades de que más gente te siga. Es posible aumentar el Steem Power y disminuirlo. Lo más aconsejable es no disminuirlo, ya que a largo plazo tu cuenta lo agradecerá.
SBD-Steem Backed dollars: este tipo de elemento también es de carácter líquido, pero está destinado a tener una mayor estabilidad o menor volatilidad que Steem, por lo que si prefieres convertir algunos de tus Steems a SBD en caso de grandes subidas puede ser buena jugada. Además, al igual que en con Steem, podemos transferir o enviar SBD a otra cuenta o a otro exchange.

Para aquellos nuevos usuarios que quieren ver qué achievements es necesario completar y cómo completarlos para que puedan ser verificados a posteriori:

Ahora os voy a enseñar dos pasos importantes que son frecuentes en esta plataforma: el "power up" y la transferencia de monedas. Como es esencial tener un mayor poder de Steem para ser más influyentes, es necesario conocer estos pasos.

Primero, vamos a tu cartera Steemit, y hacemos clic en la opción "Power Up".

Después de esto, seleccionarás la cantidad de Steem que te gustaría potenciar. En mi caso, convertiré 7.921 tokens de Steem.

Harás clic en "ok" para confirmar la transferencia e introducir tu active or owner key, o tu master password.

Por último, aprenderemos como realizar una transferencia. Primero, necesitarás ir a tu cartera y seleccionar la opción de "Transferencia".

Después seleccionarás al usuario al que hacerle la transferencia. En este caso, he decidido regalar esta cantidad significativa a uno de mis seguidores: @bchioma.

Confirmarás una vez más la transferencia e introducirás tu active o owner key, y tu master password.
