Hi people/fellow Steemiters..or is it Steemers?

I hope you are continuing to stay safe from the Coronavirus ...maybe things will return back to normal by Christmas :)?

This is my task to complete Achievement 2 as explained by @cryptokannon on her blog/page...

Q1. One of the first things I did when I joined Steemit, was I noted down and saved all of my keys (in multiple places) so I wouldn't face any difficulties and issues in the future.

Q2. Steem uses a hierarchical key system, so at it's highest level is the:

• Master password, which is used to generate all of the other keys, followed by the:
• Owner Key which is the most powerful key as it can change any key of a certain account and used if you need to recover an account.
• Next on the hierarachy or list is the Active key which is used for more sensitive tasks such as transferring funds, powering up or down transactions, converting Steem Dollars, updating certain profile details and your avatar etc and other aspects.
• The lowest or safest key to use is the Posting key which you use most of the time, to post, edit, comment etc and resteem, and follow or mute other user accounts. You should log into Steemit most of the time every day using this key because in this way you can keep your passwords and other keys safe as a limited posting key exists to restrict the damage that a compromised account key would cause.
• The memo key, I understand is not used that much.

Q3. Of course, I intend to keep my master password very safe, I wont say where I've stored it, but here's a pic (I'm only joking!):

Q4. You can transfer your steem tokens to another steem user account when steem is in its liquid form, or you can trade it on the internal market. Steem backed dollars can be traded for Steem on the internal market or transfered to another user.

To send STEEM to other users; from your wallet, click the STEEM or Steem Dollar balances with the down arrow next to them. Then, in the drop-down menu, click 'Transfer'. Type the username of the account you want to send the STEEM or Steem Dollars to, followed by the amount you want to send. Check to see if the details are correct and click Submit. You will be asked for your password so you can enter your Active key to complete this action/transfer.

Q5. Yes, I understand to power up your STEEM, you have to use your ACTIVE KEY, go to your STEEMIT wallet, when the Steem is in a liquid form; first click on the drop down box and scroll down and choose "Power Up". Then, you choose how much of the liquid Steem you want to power up. Select the amount, then press the 'Power Up' button. Holding steem in this form will help your account and influence grow as having more Steem power allows you to comment and perform transactions :)
