The world would be in chaos without various forms of etiquette to guide the forms of life of society. Etiquette should not be deemed as a burden, but as a means of order and peace.

Plagiarism is the technique of becoming the source of something you did not create or have no idea about, without the creator's consent or approval or without attributing credits to the creator.
It takes time and effort to bring something new on board, and it becomes painful when someone else takes credits for it without acknowledging your efforts.

Plagiarism is not welcomed on steemit, in fact, it is a breach of steemit's etiquette and the only way to prevent yourself from such a breach is to cite the sources( giving credits to the origianl creator).

Ways to prevent plagiarism

• Create your own idea

Avoiding plagiarism is paramount as a writer because it compromises your integrity. Aside from losing the respect of your mentors and peers, it could cost you valuable professional referrals and future career advancement. If you’re still in school, plagiarism may result in lost financial aid or leadership roles.

The next time you create a blog or what have you, ask yourself if you have someone else's work and if yes, cite the sources or use quotation marks to prevent plagiarism
