Avoiding Plagiarism and Spam
What is considered as a plagiarised or spam?
- Asking for money, views, upvotes, follows, or resteems.
- Comments that are not related to the title of the post.
- Privately Sending users a link to your blog so they can upvote it for you,
- Posts or comments that consist of offer to trade follows or upvotes.
- Using tags that are not related to the post.
- Threatening other users with any type of physical violence.
- Not citing sources when using someone else’s material.
What are Steemit’s protocols for plagiarism?
If you're posting a plagiarized, spam or abused content, you will definitely get in legal trouble for not adhering to the community principles or laws. Plagiarized and spam contents are seen as abuse and you will be downvoted by community members if you're caught. If you are posting or using another person's content, you must ensure that you have been legalize to use that content, and properly, you must reference the sources where you got the material from, weather you got it from the community or any third party site, you're advice to reference the source.
You might want to use images from other websites but make sure you're allowed to use the image, and give a reference of the source of the image.
Using random pictures from the internet without giving credit is highly prohibited. Probably, you may use photos from “free image” websites such as Pexels.com or Pixabay.com All photos on Pexels and Pixabay are free for personal and commercial use.

What is Steemcleaners?
@Steemcleaners are a group of Steemians that has been assigned by the community to look for plagiarised, copy/paste, spam, scams and other forms of abuse on Steemit blockchain.What is @cheetah?
@Cheetah is one of the assigned to fish out plagiarized content, it is a bot that was developed by @anyx. Cheetah will not downvote a plagiarized content, but she will inform other users to investigate into the contents. Abusive accounts (those caught in plagiarism and content theft) will go on Cheetah’s blacklist. Conclusion
Please it is advised not to plagiarized, make your contents real and original, if by any means you copied or wishes to post any persons article to your blog, we urge you to take permissions or after you may have copied the content don't forget to cite the source, it is very imperative that you give clear reference of the source.
