Achievement 3 Task: Content Etiquette by @bismark34
Hello Friends of Newcomers' Community
I started doing my Achievement 1, then progressed to my Achievement 2 and today I want to share with you my Achievement 3.
The two main ones are:
◘ You would be robbing someone who worked hard at their job.
◘ It leaves you a bad reputation on any Platform where you commit Plagiarism.
Let's start with: What is Plagiarism?
According to the Royal Spanish Academy, plagiarizing is "substantially copying other people's works, giving them as one's own". Source
Types of Plagiarism
• Mosaic: It is plagiarizing several people at the same time.
• Copy and Paste: It consists of copying something directly without changing absolutely
• Replacement: is when the main idea is not altered but some content is changed.
• Remix: in this type they are copied from different sources and merged into one.
• Cloned: it is faithfully copied from the other person, without changing or adding anything.
Consequences
◘ You risk your reputation and honesty.
◘ It can lead to legal action, fines and penalties.
◘ They can block you or eject you from the Platform.
How to avoid it
• Take into account the data of the source where the information is obtained.
• Plagiarism can occur many times to the poor organization of the bibliography that we have collected for some work, for this reason we must take the source clearly and with care to transcribe it well.
• One of the best ways to avoid this is by placing the sources of images and content that are not your own.
• Do your original work, developing your own ideas.
